Story
Francesca is a stunning 2-year-old domestic longhair who was adopted from the Humane Society as a kitten. She’s fully up to date on vaccinations and just had her annual vet checkup a couple months ago. Francesca is the life of the party — very chatty and loves to “talk” with her humans. She currently lives in a quiet home with no kids or other pets. She has briefly been around dogs but not extensively. She is strictly an indoor cat. She may be shy when first meeting new people and needs a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you she becomes incredibly affectionate. She loves to lay beside you, enjoys belly rubs, sleeps next to you at night, and will happily follow you around the house. She isn’t very food-motivated, but she absolutely loves toys and climbing. Francesca is a loyal, loving companion who thrives on attention and companionship. Due to a change in work/life balance, I can no longer give her the time she deserves, and I’m hoping to find a home where she’ll receive plenty of love and interaction. Francesca lives iin Portland with her owner and her rehoming fee is $100.  She is an indoor only cat.   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, and negative FIV and FeLV test. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 5, 2026, 3:36 pm

Story
Willow is Sponsored by Baby Mia.Meet Willow 🌿Willow is a clever, independent lady with a calm presence and a thoughtful way of moving through the world. She enjoys observing her surroundings, choosing her friends carefully, and soaking up affection on her own terms. She may do well with certain cats, but she’s selective and appreciates having her own space to decompress.Willow has Idiopathic Cystitis (FLUTD), a manageable condition that simply means she needs a bit of daily and monthly support to stay comfortable and healthy. She receives monthly Adequan injections and takes a daily Zylkene capsule sprinkled on her food—both of which she handles like a champ. Her care routine is straightforward and has been helping her feel her best.Despite her medical needs, Willow is a wonderful companion who enjoys gentle pets, soft voices, and a predictable, loving environment. She’s not demanding, but when she chooses you, her quiet affection is incredibly rewarding. If you’re someone who respects boundaries, appreciates a smart and sensitive cat, and doesn’t mind helping with a simple care routine, Willow could be a truly special addition to your home. 🐾If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter Hours). If you’d like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets’ profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment.
