Story
Nora was found at the Home Depot She is very sweet and affectionate and loves to sit in your lap. She has been spayed, tested, and vaccinated for distemper and rabies.  Unfortunately, Nora tested positive for feline leukemia (Felv) and feline aids (FIV). It would be best if I were the only cat in the household or with another feline leukemia positive cat.  Won’t you give me a chance to show you how much love and affection I can give you.  Because of Nora’s Felv status, Nora is a SPONSORED pet, which means a generous donor has paid her adoption fee.  If interested in Nora, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net.  We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. The majority of our cats and kittens come from high kill shelters. Through our application and interview process, we strive to make the 'purrfect' match to insure a loving, lifelong home for those in our care. We do NOT receive funding from any national organization, federal or state governments.July 24, 2024, 3:13 pm

Story
Rummikub is a beautiful, long-haired gray tabby female about 12 weeks old (DOB about 4/1/24).  She is VERY active, playful, and full of energy.  She is full of herself and not afraid of anything.  She LOVES everyone as soon as she meets them.  She purrs as soon as you touch her and has a very loud motor.  She came to us when she was 5 weeks old and weighed only 1.1 pounds.  Her right eye had ruptured.  We had to wait until she was >2.5 pound to have the eye removed and get her spayed.  She had both surgeries Jun 26.  Since she was so little when she lost vision in her right eye, she manages expertly.  There will be no treatment needed for the eye.  She loves to play with toys or other cats and is never bored.  She gets along well with other cats, and we think she'd be great with dogs and kids.  She's negative for feline leukemia and aids, had two distemper vaccines, been wormed, had advantage for fleas, and been vet checked and spayed.  Additional vaccines (third distemper and rabies) included in the adoption fee.  Preference will be given to adopters who have a young playmate/companion for the kitten.  We typically do not adopt kittens less than 6 months old to homes where they will be a solo pet.   If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net.   We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Story
Winnie is a pretty long haired black and white female kitten about 12 weeks old (DOB about 4/20/24).  Winnie was one of many cats and kittens found in an abandoned house.  Although she presumably had no human interaction until she came into foster care (she was born well after the house was empty), she is a very sweet lap cat!  She LOVES everyone as soon as she meets them.  She is VERY playful and active.  She loves to play with toys or other cats and is never bored.  She gets along well with other cats, and we think she'd be great with dogs and kids.  She's negative for feline leukemia and aids, had her first distemper vaccine, been wormed, had advantage for fleas, and been vet checked and spayed.  Additional vaccines included in the adoption fee. Story
**"Opportunity to Offer Love and Care to a Special Senior Cat!"**Meet London, a resilient cat who captured our hearts when she came into our care in 2022. Despite facing cruelty and neglect, London's spirit shines bright. Though all four of her paws were inhumanely declawed, she's ready to embrace a new chapter in life. At 13.5 years old, she deserves comfort and security.London's journey hasn't been easy. Alongside her physical challenges, including hyperthyroidism, which requires daily medication, she grapples with understandable feelings of insecurity. However, there are glimpses of her true self—moments when she welcomes affection and grooming. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, London is now in a foster home, but we're on a mission to find her a forever family. We believe she'll thrive in an environment without young children or other pets, where patience and understanding abound. If you're ready to open your heart to London, please contact Ellery at (629) 777-6850 or visit www.maarcadopt.org/adopt to fill out an application. And here's some fantastic news: London's adoption fee is covered! Let's make London's golden years truly special—let's find her the loving home she deserves!
