Story
Meet Marvel, an absolutely gorgeous long-haired girl about one-year old. She has the face of a tabby, but the rest of her breathtaking coloring is hard to describe. She is small with a cute pointy little face. (She could be younger than a year and may still grow.) She is super friendly, rolls over for belly rubs, and purrs like a freight train. She has experience with teenagers and dogs, and she definitely gets along with cats. She's a very new arrival and needs a bit of quarantine time and one more vaccine, but she is ready to entertain applications.  She's negative for feline leukemia and aids, had her first distemper vaccine, been wormed, had advantage for fleas, and been vet checked and spayed.  Additional vaccines included in the adoption fee.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net.   We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. The majority of our cats and kittens come from high kill shelters. Through our application and interview process, we strive to make the 'purrfect' match to insure a loving, lifelong home for those in our care. We do NOT receive funding from any national organization, federal or state governments.April 19, 2024, 11:05 am

Story
Nora was found at the Home Depot She is very sweet and affectionate and loves to sit in your lap. She has been spayed, tested, and vaccinated for distemper and rabies.  Unfortunately, Nora tested positive for feline leukemia (Felv) and feline aids (FIV). It would be best if I were the only cat in the household or with another feline leukemia positive cat.  Won’t you give me a chance to show you how much love and affection I can give you.  Because of Nora’s Felv status, Nora is a SPONSORED pet, which means a generous donor has paid her adoption fee.  If interested in Nora, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net.  We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Story
**FUREVER HOME URGENTLY NEEDED FOR SPECIAL NEEDS SENIOR**London came under our care last fall, a victim of animal cruelty, negligence, and abandonment. All 4 of her paws had been inhumanely declawed, leaving her defenseless outside as a 12 year old stray. Understandably, this leads to her being both food-motivated and aggressive, makings her temperament difficult to assess. She was also diagnosed with acute pancreatitis and hyperthyroidism and is on daily transdermal medication for the latter. London has her moments where she allows us to pet and groom her, but clearly she was a very unhappy cat at the shelter. Fortunately, one of our volunteers stepped up to foster her, but we believe she is best suited for a home with no young children or pets with someone who can be patient with her. Please contact us at (854) 273-3751 or fill out an application at www.maarcadopt.org/foster if you are willing to give this senior girl a chance, or call/text Cheryl at (865) 755-5392. Her adoption fee is sponsored! You can also contribute to her perpetual medical costs at www.maarcadopt.org/donate.

Story
Would you like a cat that thrills, chills, and makes you go awwwww, all while keeping you at the edge of your seat to see what happens next?! Then come meet Twerky! His ever bouncing behind is caused by intention termors (which don't hurt him) and you will love watching this spunky cat move and groove across the floor! Need more of a Daredevil cat?! Twerky is not afraid of dogs, cats, or even really fat and annoying roosters who wonder in from the farm. Watch him walk up to the edge of the couch and belly flop off the edge to the floor. No need to worry folks, he is an untrained professional! Want to know what it's like to soothe a baby to sleep without the messy diapers or teenagers asking for your car, give Twerky a try! You can hold him in your arms and watch the magic happen as he falls asleep on his back purring. If you would rather take a nap too, he is flexible, Come quick and apply today, only one in stock! But WAIT there is more, he is bonded to his sister (normal cat) Cha-cha, so for this lifetime only... Cha-cha and Twerky will work as a team purring you to sleep while making the tiniest of biscuits! 100% will make you say ...AWWWWW! THEY are buy one, get one free!!!
