Story
We took Clementine(short hair)& Citrus(long hair) in May of 2022. They've been here nearly 3 years in the rescue. Clementine& Citrus (sisters)when they were pregnant and right at a year old. They're now around 4 years old and still looking for a forever home, ideally together. But here's the catch. The girls are semi feral. They're hands off cats. And while they do great inside and are very used to dogs, cats and humans being near them, they're not fans of being touched, and will avoid you. We need a special home for them that loves cats and will just allow them to do their own thing and enjoy their own space. We will not adopt them out to be outside cats or barn cats as they deserve safe indoor homes where they're protected and the native species around them are safe as well. Both girls are spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and fiv/felv tested negative We will consider individual homes, ONLY if you have other cat friendly kitties already ❤️ both girls are litterbox trained. Located in Cosby Tennessee

Story
Hi, my name is Stormy. I’m a handsome, one-year-old gray tuxedo DMH boy, born in September 2024, with a calm presence and a quietly loving heart. I’m gentle, loyal, curious, and just playful enough to keep life fun — especially when a laser pointer is involved (I am a master laser chaser). I truly appreciate the simple pleasures: napping in sunny spots, gazing out the window to keep an eye on the neighborhood, and observing the goings-on inside my home from my favorite vantage points. I used to hide under the bed, but these days you’ll find me right in the middle of the action, happily keeping my humans company. I love relaxing on the couch, supervising cooking sessions, and being a steady presence during late-night schoolwork in the kitchen. I’d make a wonderful companion for someone who works from home. I show my affection in sweet, meaningful ways by greeting my foster parents when they come home and staying close to let them know they’re loved. While I’m confident and comfortable with my foster family, I can be shy and cautious with new people at first. With patience and time, my true personality shines through. I get along well with both dogs and cats and am especially patient and gentle with young kittens. My foster family says I do an excellent job welcoming new fosters and helping them feel safe. I thrive on routine and look forward to wet food twice a day and our nightly laser-chasing ritual before bed. One important thing to know about me is that I have stomatitis, an autoimmune condition that causes inflammation in my mouth. My vet recommends regular check-ups every six months, along with dental care that may include cleanings or extractions. I recently had six teeth removed, and I’m already feeling much better. Medication can also be used when needed to manage inflammation. Despite this condition, I don’t let it slow me down — I behave just like a typical one-year-old cat, and my foster parents have been impressed by my resilience and positive spirit. I’m looking for a patient, loving family who will prioritize my health and give me time to settle in. A quieter home with respectful family members would be ideal, and I’m happy to share my space with other dogs or cats. If you think we might be a good match, I’d love for you to submit an application. My foster family would be thrilled to talk with you about how special I am and the joy I’ve brought into their lives.January 30, 2026, 9:27 am

Story
Meet Winston – A Tiny Hero with a Huge Heart Winston is a handsome boy with a larger-than-life spirit and a story that will tug at your heartstrings. When he was just a tiny baby, he was accidentally closed in a recliner and suffered an injury that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Sadly, he didn’t receive medical care right away—but thanks to a kind-hearted Good Samaritan and our rescue, he’s now safe, loved, and thriving. Winston may never walk, but he doesn’t let that slow him down. He’s full of playful energy, curiosity, and spunk. He zooms around in his diapers, chases toys, and wrestles with his foster siblings. He’ll need a special kind of home—one that can help him express his bladder every 8-12 hours, assist with bowel care, and keep a close eye out for potential issues like UTIs. Though these care tasks are very important, they don’t actually take up a lot of time. Maybe 15 minutes a day. He also gets bathed every 1-2 weeks. This is not a typical adoption—Winston will require lifelong special care. But if you’re someone with experience in special needs cats (or someone open to learning), we promise the joy, love, and inspiration Winston brings will be more than worth it. Winston is beautiful, brave, and bursting with personality. Are you the person who can give this little fighter the incredible life he deserves?January 13, 2026, 2:34 pm
