AJ is a sweet, affectionate cat. He's great with other cats and with kids, and he's not shy. He likes following us around the house and often wants to sleep with us. He doesn't see very well, so he will often stare at a wall, which is pretty endearing. But his sight doesn't really affect his day to day. He loves to lounge around but also very affectionate when we get home. Great with cats and kids! Likes to be outside if possible but never stays out too long. Doesn't like to stray very far from the back door. Up to date on everything. He doesn't see very well, but that hasn't caused him any issues. He has a sensitive stomach, so he has a special diet. No special needs aside from the dietary ones we've mentioned.

Everest is a friendly, adventurous cat. He loves to explore and gets along easily with other cats and with kids. Everest loves to climb, play with toys, and look outside. He's very curious about the outdoors. We used to let him out a lot before we had to move into our current apartment, and he loves being out there. But he also seems content being inside and looking outside. The ideal for Everest would be a home where he could get some time outside, even if it's a small patio. He can be shy at first with other animals and with humans, but after he gets to know you, he's very affectionate. He doesn't have any medical needs. He doesn't have any other special needs.

It completely breaks my heart to be writing this, but due to some serious medical issues with a human in our household, we must re-home our 2 cats. Duchess must stay with her litter mate, O’Malley. They are the best of friends and the sweetest angels I have ever seen. Duchess is a very shy, sweet girl. But she can not resist a belly rub! She likes to sleep, play tag with her brother, and snuggle- as long as you pet her! She really is the most precious, innocent kitty. She is extremely well behaved. I’m not looking for any money, just a loving home for BOTH of my cats. I have all of their toys and automated feeders/ water fountain so whomever adopts them will not really need to spend any money. The vet has said he’s in great health and has excellent genes! Both cats are 6 years old. I’ve truly never seen them hiss or scratch. They get timid sometimes but Duchess warms up once she trusts you. Thank you so much.

Sweet Pea is a fun little guy! Loves to play and play battle and run around with the other kittens. He can be a siren sometimes, squealing his cute little head off, but then he calms down and melts. Rabbit is a shy guy who loves the company of other cats! He especially enjoys playtime and cuddles with feline friends. He came in with several litter mates, but due to their overwhelming shyness, they have pretty much grown up at the shelter. He may need extra attention and guidance in a new home as he gradually settles in. Rabbit may do best in a home with a social cat to show him "how to cat" with humans and how to be brave. Mr. Handsome, Friendly, Hipster Laszlo wears a long-haired black and white tuxedo and sports a little soul patch under his chin - he is gorgeous! His name translates to “glorious ruler”, and this fine kitty will definitely rule your heart. It’s perfectly okay with him if you scoop him up and snuggle him! He especially loves it when you scratch his cheeks and chin. At the shelter, Laszlo has shown that he seems to love all cats, cuddling, sleeping, and goofing around with his roommates. He is an equal-opportunity lovebug! Otherwise, he spends his time on patrol looking out the window, finding the good catnip toys to roll around on, and playing with rolly balls. At his foster home Laszlo showed just how much of a lovebug he is. He was constantly making biscuits, especially on soft surfaces like the cat bed his foster got for him. He enjoys lounging in the laundry basket and when his foster let him run around the apartment, he would often try to curl up against his fosters neck when she was napping or settling on her lap while making biscuits Just like at the shelter, Laszlo did really well with the resident cats at his foster home. It was there, that he met this very shy younger cat that was very unsure of Laszlo at first, but Laszlo - the social butterfly - behaved perfectly and went super slow with the resident kitty. A day or two later they were immediately playing and chasing each other across the room When it comes to play time, Laszlo really enjoys jumping after a wand toy and would love to spend hours doing it. Prior to his arrival at APA!, Laszlo suffered trauma to his tail, which gave him incontinence. He can’t empty his bladder on his own, so he needs his humans to manually express his bladder for him, which means gently pressing on it to help him go pee. It’s easier than it sounds, and APA! will show you how and make sure you are comfortable with it. He also takes some supportive meds, and needs a booty clean-up now and then. Caring for an incontinent cat is easier than you may think.
