Story
Sweet Pea is a fun little guy! Loves to play and play battle and run around with the other kittens. He can be a siren sometimes, squealing his cute little head off, but then he calms down and melts. He's the only of his siblings that is sleek rather than a puff ball. A very handsome gentleman! Primary Color: Black Weight: 2.5 Age: 0yrs 4mths 0wks

Story
Rabbit is a shy guy who loves the company of other cats! He especially enjoys playtime and cuddles with feline friends. He came in with several litter mates, but due to their overwhelming shyness, they have pretty much grown up at the shelter. He may need extra attention and guidance in a new home as he gradually settles in. Rabbit may do best in a home with a social cat to show him "how to cat" with humans and how to be brave. Meet this special guy today!I am a DHC, and I have my own webpage! The adoption fee is waived for Rabbit and ALL Cactus Cats/Desperate Housecats! Story
Brody, our 10-year-old feline, is a peaceful angel. Adopted when he was a kitten on July 2015. He's as gentle as a breeze, with fur as smooth as silk. He's a quiet companion who enjoys his beauty sleep and, importantly, he's always been a harmonious presence with my two other cats. Brody is the epitome of an easygoing cat. His peaceful nature and lack of behavior issues make him a joy to be around. I'm confident that he'll bring tranquility to his new home. If you're interested in getting to know Brody better, I'd be happy to arrange a video chat. It's a great way to see his personality and get a feel for whether he'd be a good fit for your home.

Story
It completely breaks my heart to be writing this, but due to some serious medical issues with a human in our household, we must re-home our 2 cats. Duchess must stay with her litter mate, O’Malley. They are the best of friends and the sweetest angels I have ever seen. Duchess is a very shy, sweet girl. But she can not resist a belly rub! She likes to sleep, play tag with her brother, and snuggle- as long as you pet her! She really is the most precious, innocent kitty. She is extremely well behaved. I’m not looking for any money, just a loving home for BOTH of my cats. I have all of their toys and automated feeders/ water fountain so whomever adopts them will not really need to spend any money. The vet has said he’s in great health and has excellent genes! Both cats are 6 years old. I’ve truly never seen them hiss or scratch. They get timid sometimes but Duchess warms up once she trusts you. Thank you so much.

These cats are in Elgin, Texas too!

Story
S'more is approximately 3 years old. She was rescued from a cat hoarder, where she lived in a small indoor space with 9 other neglected cats. Since being rescued 3 months ago, she has gone from hiding under a bed at all times to moving freely between indoor and outdoor spaces. When outside, she stays in the yard and does not wander far. She gets along well with people and other cats. She is house-trained (litter box or going outside) and can use a cat door. We would love to keep her but we just have too many cats since we rescued S'more and his 9 cat friends.

Peach was rescued from a cat hoarder, where he spent his entire life (approximately 3 years) in a small indoor space with 9 other neglected cats. Since being rescued 3 months ago, he has gone from hiding under a bed at all times to moving freely between indoor and outdoor spaces. He is a shy but friendly cat who gets along well with people and other pets once he has had a chance to become comfortable in a new environment. He is super soft and loves snuggles. He is house-trained and can use a cat door.

Story
Daniel is approximately 1 year old and very large. He was rescued from a cat hoarder, where he lived in a small indoor space with 9 other neglected cats. Since being rescued 3 months ago, he has gone from hiding under a bed at all times to moving freely between indoor and outdoor spaces. When outside, he stays in the yard and does not wander far. He gets along well with people and other cats. He is super soft and loves snuggles. He is house-trained (litter box or going outside) and can use a cat door. He typically pulls the cat door flap towards him then jumps through the opening and it is adorable. We would love to keep him but we just have too many cats since we rescued Daniel and his 9 cat friends.
