Good with kids, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Pear is named after her gorgeous light green eyes! She came to Furever Home Animal Rescue as a stray, picked up by one of our volunteers in Southeast DC. She is approximately 1 year old, spayed, and UTD on vaccines! All of our kitties who are spayed/neutered come microchipped as well. Pear is a social girly and would love someone who can cuddle, play, and be home with her fairly often. She hasn't had an opportunity for slow introductions to other cats or dogs and proper introductions are extremely important, so we think she would do okay with other animals with plenty of time to get used to them and her new surroundings! She is a little shy at first but quickly turns into an absolute cuddle bug. Pear is living with one of our fosters with an elementary school-aged child and does great with the kiddo! Story
Luna was a stray taken in by our family about 2 1/2 years ago. She is a cuddly, sweet kitty who likes to spend time indoors and outdoors. She is fine sharing attention with children and dogs (in fact, she is cuddly with both children and dogs), but doesn't like any other cats to take attention away from herself. She has had a couple of litters of kittens but is now spayed and completely up to date on shots. I will be sad to part with her but I need to reduce the number of pets in my rental and she needs to be an only cat. You will fall in love with her at first sight!

Story
Age/DOB: 4-9-2019 About Me Hopeless romantic with a soft heart and a wet chin. I believe love should be clingy, cozy, and slightly damp. If you’re into personal space, we’re not a match—because I will be all up in your business. I’m a larger lady with a soft heart, a loud purr, and the emotional depth of someone who will absolutely pin your legs under the covers and call it bonding. I’m emotionally available, physically affectionate, and not afraid to show my feelings via intense eye contact and gentle licking. Yes, licking. Looking for a cat who will really commit to affection? Honor doesn’t just love you—she licks you. Hands, arms, face. It’s her love language, and she’s fluent. Quirks & Features Drools when happy. Which is often. Consider it complimentary. Professional blanket burrower. If there’s a blanket on the bed, she will explore (and nap) underneath it. Certified licker. Think of her as a very small, very persistent spa treatment. Has strong opinions about humans. Honor is most comfortable with women and tends to be wary of deep voices and larger frames—she’s looking for a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and in control. Hobbies & Interests Licking hands, arms, faces—dealer’s choice Napping aggressively Judging men from across the room (nothing personal, it’s just my brand) Red Flags (for you) You enjoy personal space You value circulation in your legs You are a man You think blankets are for decoration instead of shared occupancy Green Flags (for me) Calm energy Gentle voice Doesn’t flinch when licked Understands that drool is just feelings in liquid form Ideal Home Honor would thrive in a quiet household with someone (female) who enjoys cozy nights, doesn’t mind a little drool on their sweater, and appreciates a cat who believes personal space is a myth. She’s a fullfigured cuddle companion who believes being close means being on top of you. “Has a strong preference for lowkey, lowtestosterone households.” Important Relationship Status Bonded with my sister. We come as a set. A duo. A twocat emotional support system. I’m not looking to be adopted alone—I need my sister with me so I can continue thriving, cuddling, and confidently judging the world (especially men). If you adopt Honor, you will never be alone, never be dry, and never be able to make your bed properly again.  Worth it? Absolutely. I am spayed/neutered, tested negative for FIV/ FeLV, microchipped, dewormed, treated with Revolution, and am up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines.* I am bonded with my sister Freedom & we must be adopted together.*You may apply to adopt at www.purrsandwhiskers.org/adopt ##2677878##
