Story
Meet Zelda! Zelda is a beautiful long haired torti. Zelda originally came to us as a kitten 6 years ago from a high kill shelter in NC. She was adopted but experienced some anxiety with the feline siblings in her home and was returned to us a few days ago..(By the way, if you adopted Harry 6 years ago, Zelda is his sibling.)We are just getting to know Zelda again. She is very confused right now as to why she has lost her home; however, we do know she is very sweet and loves pets. We will post more as we get to know her better.Zelda will need a few weeks to decompress, relax, and unwind and will be available around May 15th. Her perfect home would be a quiet, low energy home as an only cat or with another cat friend. Low stress, of course. Zelda is spayed, up to date on her rabies and FVRCP vaccines, tested negative on her combo test, and os microchipped for life. Let us know if you would like to maeet this beautiful girl. Story
Hi, I'm Onyx. I've felt the sting of goodbyes more times than I can count. But I've never let that harden my heart. Instead, I've become a connoisseur of cuddles, a savant of sweetness, and a loyal friend to anyone who'll let me. I've learned that love isn't about how long you've known someone, but about the warmth you share in each moment. And I've got a lot of warmth to give. I'm looking for someone who won't see me as just another cat, but as a faithful companion. I promise, with me, you'll never feel alone. I deserve a forever home, will you give me that chance? I am currently living with a foster family in Saudi Arabia but will be flying to the U.S. at the end of March. If you are interested in fostering me please reach out to Jeepin For Paws or if you'd like to adopt, you can apply here: https://form.jotform.com/240357683837164

Story
Meet Roland, a very handsome 16 year young Tabby! Roland came to us with Dorothy. They were surrendered when their owners could no longer care for them. Roland is a crotchety old man who hisses when he sees other cats and is placed in new situations. He doesn't act on it he is just vocal! He is a loving old man and very affectionate. Again he will need understanding while he settles into a new home. Both cats are DECLAWED so we have to be very selective if they will be living with cats. We do not know how they will be with dogs or young kids. Roalnd was previously neutered and we have brought him current on all vaccines, dewormings and flea/tick preventatives. He has been FIV/FLV tested (NEGATIVE). To Apply for Adoption/Foster please copy and paste the following link: https://orangecountyva.gov/158/Animal-Shelter

Story
Meet sweet 16 year young, Dorothy. She came to us along with Roland. They were surrendered when their owners could no longer care for them.(No negative comments please!!) Dorothy and Roland are 16 years old and while they have lived together their whole lives they are pleasantly tolerant of each other. Dorothy is shy girl who will need time to decompress so having a room she can hang out in while she gets settled in a new home would be ideal for her. Everything new is terrifying for her so she has a tendency to hide. Once she is comfortable she is an affectionate little gal. Dorothy was previously spayed. We brought her current on all vaccines, dewormings and flea/tick preventative. She was tested for FLV/FIV (NEGATIVE). Story
Affectionate Ayisha was rescued together with a bushel of kittens. Not knowing which kittens belonged to which mom...Ayisha stayed together and remained close companions with Ruth another Tortie and Delilah. Based on their close relationship we supposed they could be mother/daughter or sisters. Ayisha now stays in a a cat dorm with several other cats, and kittens. She loves sun bathing, is extremely affectionate, quiet, loves being pet, purrs constantly whether she is being pet or you're just in her presence. She is playful, especially with Catnip toys. She can be very friendly even to new people she hasn't even met before. She would do well in a Low-Mid Energy home, one that is looking to give her all the love and pets she wants. If you're looking for a beautiful, affectionate Tortie who absolutely loves being pet then look no further, Affectionate Ayisha is the perfect gal! Please text or call Toni @ 540-419-5335 to set up meeting or fostering one of the most affectionate cats there is today!

Story
We have had her about a year, she was around 6 weeks when we got her. A friend found her in our neighborhood most likely from one of the strays. She was loving from the start and continues to be a very cuddly cat. She is litter box trained and likes walnut shell litter the best. She loves tuna & salmon and will always come around when there is sushi! She is a very chill cat and we love her dearly and it pains us to have to rehome her, but we just found out the reason we have all been so sick is due to us all being allergic to her but my son having it the worst. She will come with litter box and liners and whatever food and treats we have left. Not asking for a rehoming fee, just want her to go to a loving good home.

Story
Meet Stella R. Tois aka "Stella," Jenna C. Brew, and Jennings - 3 one -year-old sisters who are looking for a home. These 3 girls have been with us since they were little kittens, about 8 weeks old. They were found in the parking lot of the brewery in downtown Culpeper.Stella is the braver of the 3 sisters and enjoys being pet, once she gets to know you, on her terms Usually while eating). Jenna C. and Jennings (like twins!) are very shy but submissive. When they need vetted, it isn't difficult to pick them up and place them in a carrier - again, once they are comfortable with you. These girls are not barn cat material. They cannot defend themselves and are not street smart. They are, what we refer to as Violets - or shrinking violets. Stella, Jenna, and Jennings need a patient, quiet, loving home where they will be loved for who they are and their new person or family will be patient until they come out of their shell and learn to trust. They are litter box trained, but at times can knock the litter out or knock the box over. Easily fixed. They are not aggressive. They do not claw furniture and would love a large climber in front of a sunny window. Because they are not lap cats, they have lived a year in foster care and are yearning for their new home.Won't you please open your heart to them? Their perfect home would be a quiet, low activity home with either no children or children over the age of 14. Adoption fee - adopt 1 get 2 free. They just need a good, loving home. Thank you.GoodMews22@aol.com or call 540.717.4420April 28, 2024, 3:51 pm
