Story
Meet Goose, Your Future Snuggle Buddy!Looking for a loyal companion who’ll keep you company and fill your home with love (and a little chatter)? Meet Goose, a gorgeous 9-year-old grey tabby with the softest long fur and an even softer heart. Goose was surrendered to The Cat Corner at no fault of his own. His human mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer and although leaving him broke her heart, she wanted to ensure he would not be displaced after her passing. Goose is an absolute love bug who enjoys following you around, sharing a few meows about your day, and then curling up in your lap or right beside you at bedtime. His favorite things? Cozy fleece blankets, biscuit-making sessions, and purring his heart out while soaking up all the affection. This sweet boy would thrive in a calm, cat-free home where he can be the center of attention because let’s face it, he deserves it! If you’re ready to open your heart (and your lap) to this charming gentleman, get your application in today and come meet Goose!Location: Temporary foster home. For an appointment for a meet & greet, please 1) fill out an online adoption application first and 2) email: adopt@thecatcornerinc.com to request an appointment. More Adoption details: An important part of the process is to match the life-style and needs of the adopter with the individual animal being adopted. Once you have fallen in love with your purrfect match, you will need to complete an adoption application. We have the online adoption application, or you may fill out a paper application in person at The Cat Corner location. We do not do "same-day adoptions". Here is more about our adoption process and a link to fill out our online adoption application: www.thecatcornerinc.com/adoption-process.Adoption PackageThe list below includes all of the basic services that each of our cats receives:Spay/Neuter surgeryFeline Leukemia/FIV combo test (cats)Heartworm test (dogs)Microchip with free lifetime registrationRabies vaccinationFVRCP (Feline distemper) vaccinationBordetella vaccination (dogs)De-worming treatmentsFlea treatmentFull senior blood panel (8+ years of age)Starter foodBehavioral assessmentA continuing resource to answer any of your questions or concernsOur adoption fee helps to offset the services that we provide for your newest furry addition. It also acts as a donation to help support our organization as a whole, allowing us to continue our efforts to rescue and re-home cats in need of our help. Applying to Adopt Once you and your family have spent time with the cats in the adoption room and are ready to adopt, please visit the adoption section of our website: www.thecatcornerinc.com/adoptOur adoption process page will provide you with all of the information you need to know about adopting through our organization, including what to expect, what information we will require from you, and finding your purrfect match. Thank You For Choosing to Adopt!! As a no-kill rescue, we can only bring in and save more cats and kittens in need as our current cats and kittens are adopted. This is why we say that when you adopt one cat or kitten you are actually saving TWO lives! One is the current cat or kitten that you are adopting, the second is the one that we now have room to save and place into our safe shelter.About The Cat Corner The Cat Corner, Inc. is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization that does not receive any federal, state or local government funding. We depend solely from the generosity of caring individuals from our community to continue to do our work. thecatcornerinc.comfacebook.com/thecatcornerinc

For more pics, videos, and info about this cat, please find us on Instagram @SymbioticSuffolk or Facebook @SymbioticInc. We reply to ALL emails within 72 hours. If you do not receive an email from us, please check your spam/junk folder. Beautiful Solstice was rescued at 4 months old from the streets and as such, she’s still learning to trust people and indoor life. She's doing great though and becoming braver by the day. She LOVES playing with other kitties so if you don’t already have a young, playful cat or kitten for her to grow up with, you’ll need to consider adopting a pair. We think Solstice has a very bright future with a patient family who will continue working with her. Submit your app today to come and meet this beautiful girl! The first step is to complete the cat adoption application below. Symbiotic Inc. has a required minimum $150 adoption donation. If you are adopting two cats at once, it is a total of $250. (it is tax deductible!) All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all needed health care before adoption is finalized. We require a meet and greet with all potential adopters, a home visit and a vet reference (if applicable). If you are interested in adopting please visit our website to find our adoptions standards and a link to our cat adoption questionnaire. https://symbioticinc.org/adoption-application
