Meet Grayce! unfortunately she was surrendered to us in march and came in with behavior issues that Staff has been working with her each day to improve! Grayce has come a long way from where she started and is ready for a forever home. Grayce likes her personal space and prefers peace and quiet, so please keep distance as she is not shy to enforce that. She would do best in a home with no children or dogs and an owner who has experience with Cat behavior/cues. She loves treats and is a great listener!Grayce is perfect fluffy roommate, If you're interested, Talk with Care Team Today!

Story
We rescued Henry in August 2019, his birthday was unknown, but he was presumed to be 6 months to a year old. He was rescued from a cat mill. He had lived in our single family home with no issues for 3 years, and them shortly after the birth of our 3rd child (he was already used to his two human brother and sister), he started lashing out, getting aggressive towards our oldest (8 yr old) and our dogs (a chihuaha and golden retriever). He even started spraying in the house randomly. Our Chihuahua has become traumatized by this, and she is 13, so we would like her remainder years to be without fear of the cat. Henry is a sweet cat, who will lay in your lap and purr for hours. I think he just needs a child free, animal free home, where he can get spoiled rotten by his new owner.

Story
I adopted Otto about 4 years from Norfolk SPCA. He’s about 5 years old now and has see his fair share of moves over the years. Recently a dog has been added to family and unfortunately they do not get along. He is naturally timid and this has only made it worse. Originally, it took him about 2 months to be comfortable enough to be pet. However, he has a lot of love to give when he warms up. He will probably always remain skittish if you’re up and moving but will always cuddle when you’re sitting or laying down. He does very well with other cats and would love a home with some friends. He also doesn’t destroy furniture, but i would recommend a carpet scratching post.

Story
Meet Rip Wheeler! This handsome 4-5 year old fellow holds a very special place in his foster mom’s heart, because he’s one of the first males from her huge trapping project that is able to be adopted! He was living the harsh outdoor life before they met and his life changed forever! It took him some time to come around and trust humans, but now he ready to find his forever family. He’s entirely too distinguished to play with toys, but he’s perfectly content to snooze on his cat tower and watch the other cats’ shenanigans! He also LOVES to sit in the window and watch the birds! He is an observer and loves to take everything in. Rip is FIV+, which causes him to have a weakened immune system, but don’t let that deter you from adopting him! He can still live a long, full, healthy life! Find out more here: https://www.fivcatrescue.org/fiv-what-is-fiv/ Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com. ‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯

Story
Hello there, my name is Woody! I was found with my two siblings under a cornhole game board when I was barely 2 weeks old. I like to be held and cuddled and given lots of love when I am not running around from being in full-on kitten energy mode. All I have to do is look at you with my pretty brown and white long fur and cute little brown nose and hearts will melt. If I want your attention I will squeak at you - I have already found my voice. I am a special boy as I may have a food intolerance/allergy. I haven’t been tested at a vet for it, but chicken and turkey food seems to make my insides upset so right now my foster mom is feeding me limited-ingredient food. Having a special diet can get expensive and I will need to go to a home where my humans are committed to feeding me what I need to stay healthy! I definitely prefer dry food but will occasionally nibble a little on wet food. Another must for me is going to a home with another friendly cat to keep me company or to a home where someone is home most of the time (for example, someone who works from home). Humans and other cats are the most fun! I love to follow my foster mom around all day and when I am not with her I am hanging out with the other cats in the house. Being with company makes me happy! I am not sure about dogs as I have not been introduced to them yet. My favorite toys right now are small, soft balls that I enjoy chasing (and even will bring back to you to throw again sometimes). A laser pointer is fun to try to catch, too! Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This mischievous looking furball is Broccoli!  He just turned one year old and decided that he has no plans to be a tomcat because he enjoys sitting on laps and getting petted so much.  Broccoli started out as a street cat in Amman, Jordan but quickly distinguished himself from his peers by how friendly he was.  While he was still a young adult Broccoli had the misfortune to be hit by a car which broke one of his front legs.  Luckily, his current foster immediately noticed Broccoli’s condition and whisked him off to the vet.   After having a metal plate surgically implanted to support his front paw, he spent several months recovering from his injury.  During that time Broccoli’s temperament was so good that he was featured in a short video for the veterinary office where he was being treated. A true kitty cat reality star! Due to the length of time Broccoli spent at the vet healing, his foster decided it wouldn’t be fair to release him back on the streets after all he had been through.  Since then this critter has been enjoying the good life as a housecat in his foster’s small, one bedroom apartment with several other foster cat friends. While this is much, much better than the life he lived on the streets it is a far cry from the furever home that his foster wants for him. Broccoli is extremely affectionate to the point of being clingy.  His foster often jokes that a better name for him might have been “Velcro” or “Trip Hazard” because of how close he wants to be at all times.  He loves making biscuits and will often start kneading his paws as soon as someone looks in his direction.  He recognizes his name and gives a quiet meow or chirp when he’s called.  If he’s not snuggled up with his foster he’s racing around the apartment after his toys as if he never had a broken paw in the first place. It is very rare that a cat born on the streets of Jordan has a personality as friendly and loving as Broccoli’s.  It’s even more rare for one to survive being hit by a car and rescued. Broccoli’s foster is convinced that God has a plan for this gentle, loving cat, and he’s making every effort, and putting forth the expense to find him a furever home in the United States where he can spend the rest of his days with a family that loves him.  Are you that family? Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com. ‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi, I'm Bianca! My foster momma calls me Yonka, too. I'll respond to either one, especially if you want to feed me. I'm a gorgeous dilute tortie, and I have the personality to prove it! I'm a big girl but don't talk about my weight or I'll get ya! I run when you try to get me on the scale. I love my curvy figure. It brings all the boys to the yard! I'm not a big fan of wet food, but I'll chow down on some crunchy dry food. I would do best in a quiet home without kids. I'm as big as a kid and don't like the competition for attention. I need it all to myself! I can get a little nibbly when you play with me because I treat you like another cat. I didn't have any siblings to nibble back, so I don't realize that it hurts - I'm not trying to be mean. That's just how I play, but I can learn to be more gentle if you're patient with me. I love for you to pet and brush me. My hair is really thick, so I need a lot of brushing to keep my hair luscious and flowing. Fluff balls are plentiful with me around. I would love for you to take a chance on me because I deserve to be spoiled! I'm waiting to meet you at Catnip Cat Cafe in Norfolk! https://www.catnipcatcafe.com/ Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com. ‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯

Story
This is Timber he is around 10 years old but still acts like a kitten. Very playful and really likes attention. He tends to be pretty chatty. Likes: cuddling, stringy toys, kitty tunnels, affection, Dislikes: closed bedroom doors, water, vacuuming, being alone I recently moved from two story five bedroom house to a very very small studio apartment. He went from having a huge house with other pets and other people there all the time to just me and him and he's alone most of the day. My ideal placement for him would be a type of family that could give him all sorts of affection and love and keep him active.
