Story
Meet Rip Wheeler! This handsome 4-5 year old fellow holds a very special place in his foster mom’s heart, because he’s one of the first males from her huge trapping project that is able to be adopted! He was living the harsh outdoor life before they met and his life changed forever! It took him some time to come around and trust humans, but now he ready to find his forever family. He’s entirely too distinguished to play with toys, but he’s perfectly content to snooze on his cat tower and watch the other cats’ shenanigans! He also LOVES to sit in the window and watch the birds! He is an observer and loves to take everything in. Rip is FIV+, which causes him to have a weakened immune system, but don’t let that deter you from adopting him! He can still live a long, full, healthy life! Story
*Must be adopted with Blaze & Rivin* Meet July! This little lady is sweet and sassy. She loves to cuddle with foster mom and siblings. If there’s a blanket, she's always baking biscuits! When she's taking a break from playing with her favorite toys, she likes to watch her siblings run and wrestle. July is a high maintenance princess, so she loves and needs a clean litter box, and she’s not a fan of sharing food! Sometimes she wants to play leader of the pack but ends up playing follow the leader! She adores sun bathing on the window sill. Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com. ‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯

Story
Say hello to Susie! This gorgeous senior girl is on her weight loss journey and is ready for a new forever home! Last year, Susie found herself at a veterinary office for euthanasia because her family couldn't handle her obesity and sanitary needs. The vet couldn't bear to put an overall healthy animal to sleep and reached out to Susie's foster family for help. Susie arrived at her foster home at a whopping 35 pounds! She is on a strict diet and has lost 10 pounds so far. Her adopter will have to assist her with her weight loss journey by feeding her a specific diet food and encouraging exercise. Susie is young at heart and loves teaser wands and string toys. She enjoys catnip, cat scratchers, and naps. Her favorite napping spot is anywhere in the warm sunshine! When she isn't napping, she is following her foster parents around the house - even to the bathroom! Susie is a GIANT cuddle bug! She enjoys snuggling up to her foster parents whether it be in bed or on the couch. She loves getting pets behind her ears and on her white chest. She will grab your hand softly so you don't stop petting her chest. She sometimes will boop your nose to get your attention and let you know she wants pets! Due to her weight, Susie is unable to properly groom herself which causes her to have sanitary issues. She needs to have her booty wiped or she can leave marks on her bed or blankets. Her foster parents find it helpful to shave her backside every so often. She is tolerant of it because she gets rewarded with a treat afterwards! Once Susie loses more weight, she will be able to groom herself better. Susie does not get along with other cats but she tolerates dogs. She would do best with older children or children who respect her space. Susie can get sassy if you touch her belly or tail area. Are you looking for a chunk, a chunk of burning love? Look no further! Want to meet Susie? Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application, and be sure to include her name! Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com. ‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯

Story
Hi, I’m MoJo! I’m a classy older gentleman who appreciates the finer things in life: soaking up rays in the window, luxurious day-long naps on the bed, and following my beloved foster dad around, waiting for him to sit down so I can settle in on his lap for hours of cuddle time! I’m not a fan of cats or dogs, so I need to be your one and only sidekick, but I promise I have MORE than enough love and affection to give you! My people say that I have the sweetest face, and the softest meows for such a big boy. I have that laid back Maine Coon demeanor that you just can’t resist! You’re probably wondering how such a dapper gentleman as myself came to be without a home. Well, I’m not quite sure how I ended up outside, but this nice lady in my foster parents’ rescue community was contacted when someone found me going from apartment to apartment, crying to be let in. My people promise I never have to worry about being alone and scared outside again, and boy am I glad to hear that! I love both wet and dry food. I could kinda take or leave the toys and treats; my one “must have” is a comfy, soft lap to cuddle up in, so I can know that I’m home safe at long last! If you need a little MoJo in your life, let’s meet! Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com. ‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯

We adopted our Beastie Boy on June 5, 2015, making him 9 years young. This sweet boy prefers to be an only child, to get all of your attention. He enjoys affection and getting groomed daily. He will love to be near you, in the middle of everything, and is very social. He loves to be outside to soak in the suns rays and to eat grass. Dont let the occasional fur ball or love bite defer you, this sweet boy is ready for a new adventure.

Story
Mr. Chill is our gorgeous solid grey and white long haired handsome, young boy that is a miracle cat.  A vet that Critter Cavalry Rescue works with, called about Mr. Chill who was brought in to their clinic with a badly injured leg and Critter Cavalry Rescue fixed him up and boy was he worth it !!!!  His regular name was Cloudy but we nicknamed him Mr. Chill.  He has healed so nicely and a dreamy, friendly,  snuggly boy ever since we picked him up from the vet’s office. He greets his foster mom at the door in the morning, ready for her to pick him up and hold him over her shoulder.  He wants lots of head scratches, please! What a trouper he has been!  As you can see from his good looks , he is also a gentleman and has been so tolerant of the other younger and more energetic kitten in the cat room of the house.  He has never hurt one, nor has he even growled to ask her to please quiet down and behave.  He just embraces the fun.  Mr. Chill is all that and more….such a gentle boy.  He is  destined to become a lap cat, not because he has to, but because he wants to.  Purring is guaranteed with his adoption and at no extra charge!   Please write to us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 28, 2024, 12:37 pm

Story
Meet Mr. Oreo.  This very handsome man is 3 years old and a medium size cat.  He is good with other cats and likes people.  He is just a bit shy of new people when he first meets them.  He will let you pet him but not always.  He needs a patient mom and/or dad to help him over come this.  He was found as a stray dumped in the country in middle Tennessee.  He still needs to learn that he can trust humans again.  Miss Judith came to his rescue and Critter Cavalry stepped in to get him all the vet care he needed and to find him the purrfect forever home.  Will that be with you?  To help Oreo please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.May 28, 2024, 12:37 pm
