Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Breena is a beautiful Domestic Long Hair Tuxedo estimated to be less than two years old. She was the best momma to her babies and now is looking for her own furever home. It's her turn to be lavished with love! Breena enjoys a soft blanket, sitting in her cat tree and watching the world out the window! She seeks out affection and greets me in a special way by jumping up on the mini fridge when I enter the room so I can pet her first.  This royal lady wants to be petted, given kisses, and groom her human's hair. She's super soft and the feel of her is sensational. Breena is very content, talkative with chirps and trills, and enjoying toys now that her babies are grown. This sweet cat would love to have a home that will give her lots of attention and she will be your amazing, loyal companion.  She has been in a loving and safe foster home partnered with Friends for Life Animal Rescue. She has been fixed, microchipped, tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia, is up to date on vaccinations and, per our policy, has been treated for potential ear mites, worms and fleas.  If you think you have room in your heart and home for this beautiful cat, please contact Laura at 540-272-3506.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All available animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and treated for fleas, worms, and ear mites. All cats/kittens are tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Some cats have been vaccinated for rabies. Adoption fees are cash or check only. March 9, 2026, 1:23 pm

Story
Raven’s story reads like the last page of a well loved novel that ended too soon. When her elderly owner entered hospice and passed away, Raven lost her whole world in one quiet, confusing sweep. Home, routine, her person. Everything. Now this four year old beauty is learning how to begin again. Raven has lived a very sheltered life, and change feels big to her. She does not enjoy children and prefers not to share her space with other animals. What she truly longs for is something simple and rare: a calm, quiet home where she can exhale and just be someone’s steady companion. She is not a lap cat yet. Trust is something she offers in soft, careful layers. But give her a brush and you will see her melt. Brushing is her love language. She leans in, closes her eyes, and forgets her worries for a little while. She has already formed a sweet bond with her foster, but the busy household with kids and other pets is not the peaceful ending she deserves. Raven is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and FeLV/FIV negative. She is healthy. She is absolutely stunning. And beneath her cautious heart is a loyal companion waiting for someone patient enough to let her bloom. She will be shy at first and will need an understanding adopter who sees past those first quiet days. Someone willing to say yes to a cat who may not climb into your lap immediately, but will slowly, surely, choose you. Raven does not need chaos. She does not need a crowd. She just needs one person to give her a chance. Could that be you? 🖤 Located in Yakima, WA with a foster but can be transported to Western WA

Story
Tux was a neighborhood kitty that we trapped and rescued in December 2025. He's estimated to be about 5 years old, weighs 17bs, and is a majestic fellow with his long fur and heart-shaped nose. Following a vet visit in January, he has received his rabies and FVRCP vaccines, a Selarid shot (flea treatment), and was diagnosed as FIV+. He's also missing one of his canines but that's how he came to us. He's currently taking Lysene daily and we've supplemented with Imuquin to help him recover from his neuter surgery and conjunctivitis. He's timid/wary but open to pets and brushing (currently swiping at me more than usual, which appear to be signs of stress/unhappiness in his enclosure); talkative; loves catnip and treats (will take food very gently from your hand/fingers); likes being brushed; will head bump and body rub, and I've even heard some purrs! Recommending he's an only cat as unsure how he is with other cats. Really needs to be in a home setting to decompress.
