Story
Tux was a neighborhood kitty that we trapped and rescued in December 2025. He's estimated to be about 5 years old, weighs 17bs, and is a majestic fellow with his long fur and heart-shaped nose. Following a vet visit in January, he has received his rabies and FVRCP vaccines, a Selarid shot (flea treatment), and was diagnosed as FIV+. He's also missing one of his canines but that's how he came to us. He's currently taking Lysene daily and we've supplemented with Imuquin to help him recover from his neuter surgery and conjunctivitis. He's timid/wary but open to pets and brushing (currently swiping at me more than usual, which appear to be signs of stress/unhappiness in his enclosure); talkative; loves catnip and treats (will take food very gently from your hand/fingers); likes being brushed; will head bump and body rub, and I've even heard some purrs! Recommending he's an only cat as unsure how he is with other cats. Really needs to be in a home setting to decompress.

Story
God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Look at that beautiful face! Cardamom is a unique long-haired solid white boy with piercing blue eyes. His beginnings were humble and humanless. When he first arrived at his foster mom's house, he was terrified. But with a little patience and a lot of love, Cardamom has blossomed into a purring machine. Card, on first meeting, can be very shy but as soon as he realizes he is going to be petted, he melts. He keeps his beautiful coat VERY clean and his tail is best described like a feather duster. Card will definitely require time to acclimate in his new home but his new parent(s) will be richly rewarded with a loyal and sweet fur companion!

Story
Lola is almost 3 years old. She is a rescue that was in an abusive relationship with her previous owner. She is going to be distant for a while but once she gets used to you she is one of the most loving cats youll have. She has a mushroom scratcher that shes torn to pieces but she loves that thing to bits (literally). Shes playful, energetic, and LOVES wet food. Lola needs a quiet home with few to one people. She will swipe at you if you try and pet her without her giving you the nose boop of consent. All in all, this is a great cat if you are lonely and need a pal.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Breena is a beautiful Domestic Long Hair Tuxedo estimated to be less than two years old. She was the best momma to her babies and now is looking for her own furever home. It's her turn to be lavished with love! Breena enjoys a soft blanket, sitting in her cat tree and watching the world out the window! She seeks out affection and greets me in a special way by jumping up on the mini fridge when I enter the room so I can pet her first.  This royal lady wants to be petted, given kisses, and groom her human's hair. She's super soft and the feel of her is sensational. Breena is very content, talkative with chirps and trills, and enjoying toys now that her babies are grown. This sweet cat would love to have a home that will give her lots of attention and she will be your amazing, loyal companion.  She has been in a loving and safe foster home partnered with Friends for Life Animal Rescue. She has been fixed, microchipped, tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia, is up to date on vaccinations and, per our policy, has been treated for potential ear mites, worms and fleas.  If you think you have room in your heart and home for this beautiful cat, please contact Laura at 540-272-3506.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All available animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and treated for fleas, worms, and ear mites. All cats/kittens are tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Some cats have been vaccinated for rabies. Adoption fees are cash or check only. February 12, 2026, 9:10 am
