Story
**The reason says ‘’does not get along with another pet’ but it’s the other pet who is just a jerk to her, not that she isn’t social or friendly** Ameriga is 4 years old. My husband adopted her in 2020 as a kitten. He named her “Ameriga” because of her curiosity and love of exploring. She gets along with her small dog companion and one of my cats. Unfortunately, one of my cats does not like her and fights with her constantly. I had to start keeping her in a cage to keep them separated and also because she began peeing on the floor. We took her to the vet to check for UTI and she was negative but they said she may be afraid to use the litter box with the other cat always lurking and waiting to attack. She never had any issues peeing outside the box before my other cat started being mean to her. She is a very sweet cat who loves pets and loves to snuggle, she is very social and she deserves better than being isolated and living in a cage.

Story
Raven is a gorgeous sleek little mini panther. She has become a real lap cat and loves to sleep with her foster mom and dad. She is not a fan of being picked up and carried but that's not a big deal. She is comfortable with her foster doggy brothers. She will need a little time to warm up to new people and new situations. But once you have earned her trust she is the perfect companion.Available for adoption from Kitty Kat Haven and RescueHoover, AL 35226205-302-8883

Story
Aptly named, regal Duke is a handsome house panther. Although still shy with humans, he has made a tremendous amount of progress in foster care. Introductions work best when he is allowed to initiate contact in an open space. He can warm up quickly and show you just how sweet and affectionate he can be. Duke enjoys being petted and receiving back scratches. He also loves to be brushed! Duke dislikes being picked up, but enjoys being loved on while his human is sitting on the couch, and will even lay across your lap. He gives forceful cheek rubs and head bumps to show his affection. His favorite activity, however, is chasing treats tossed or hidden around the house. He even recognizes the word, "Treats!" Duke is very vocal, and very good at communicating his desires. Duke likes to be around, wrestle and play with other cats. He would make a great kitty brother. Will Duke choose you as his favorite person ever?Available for adoption from Kitty Kat Haven and RescueHoover, AL 35226205-302-8883

Story
Teagan was rescued from a terrible situation where she survived a dog attack along with siblings Emory and Natasha. Given this, she is needing to learn she can trust. She has learned that she loves to be brushed, pet and have her ears scratched, but she is still very timid when being picked up from the floor. Her foster human is working with her and believes that with some time to adjust, she will continue to become an amazing companion. She is good with other cats and dogs. She has not been around young children.Available for adoption from Kitty Kat Haven and RescueHoover, AL 35226205-302-8883

Story
Cash, whose nickname is Merlin because of his wizard-like appearance, randomly showed up at a feral colony four years ago. He made himself right at home there. His life before the colony is a mystery but his foster likes to theorize that he is from another realm or Hogwarts. Cash look looks like an ancient being who lived when the Egyptians worshipped cats as the royalty they are. So there is a chance he is a time-walking wizard. The other possibility is that he belonged to a friendly witch, fell off her broom, and landed in the colony. Whatever the case, his caretakers noticed he was losing weight, looking scraggly so they took action and found him a foster human. Cash is a BIG, handsome boy who loves human affection! Someone must have treated him kindly in his other realm. He will sit in your lap and loves to be brushed. Cash is selective when it comes to other cats. He may could co-exist in a home with very passive female cats. But, he has made it clear that he prefers human companionship over other feline friends. He is not a fan of the resident canines in his foster home. Ideally, Cash will be best as an only pet.Available for adoption from Kitty Kat Haven and RescueHoover, AL 35226205-302-8883

Story
Mollie was dumped on a rural road and heavily pregnant and was found and taken inside a mere five days before giving birth to her five kittens. She has since weaned her littles and is now spayed. Mollie gave everything to her babies so she is currently really thin, but her foster is trying to fatten her up and get her back up to a good weight. In the meantime, she is a sweet, loving girl that loves to be petted and brushed and will allow you to do that as long as you can. She loves to lay next to you and close to you. Even spayed, she still cares for her kittens, though she has let them know the milk bar is closed. She is beautiful, soft and a little timid and she will certainly be a wonderful addition to your family!Available for adoption from Kitty Kat Haven and RescueHoover, AL 35226205-302-8883
