Story
This beautiful, sweet, shy little lady is so ready to find the purrrfect home where she can come out of her shell in her own time, with calm, quiet, understanding paw-rents! Guava came to us as part of a large surrender in Northern BC. She is shy at first and loves her hiding spots, but will happily accept ear & butt scratches, in fact this is when she feels the most comfortable to eat as well! She craves attention but is taking time to come out of her favourite hiding place. With slow and steady interactions we know when she's ready she'll let her big personality shine through! She was already starting to open up in shelter, making biscuits when giving her head and cheek scratches

Story
Say hello to my little friend! This very special boy is looking for a very special home, Tony Montana got his name from a large wound on his cheek. This poor little man came to us as a stray so his history is unknown. Upon arrival he had a large abscess on his cheek and was in dire need of vet care. he is currently recovering and his wound is looking great, though still open and quite raw. Tony is a nervous guy who is experiencing a lot of new things. He is used to living outdoors so he would be a good candidate for a catio, as he enjoys sitting outside watching the birdies. He's coming around to people and has been showing us he's comfortable by eating in front of us, and out of our hands! It might take a couple weeks before he's comfortable receiving pets but he's shown interest in it here and has allowed light petting. He seems to like cheek scratches and will even give out a little purrHe is looking for an experienced paw-rent, familiar with shy, nervous and under socialized cats and he could potentially do well with a confident feline friend in the home. If you're interested in a foster-to-adopt arrangement while this sweetheart recovers from his wound and awaits his neuter surgery, submit your application by following the link below. https://spca.bc.ca/survey/cat-adoption-application-cowichan/ Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 3.8 Age: 6yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Meet Bennett, a sweet and affectionate feline with a heart as big as his wonderful personality. This handsome boy was surrendered to the SPCA due to urinary issues, and our compassionate team is determined to find him the perfect forever home. Bennett has an outgoing and friendly disposition once he has time to settle into his new environment. He will rush up to greet you and loves attention. His luxurious long coat adds to his charm but demands regular brushing and upkeep. Bennett has Idiopathic Cystitis which means high levels of stress may cause flare ups of bladder inflammation. To ensure his optimal health, Bennett thrives in a steady and quiet environment, and should be kept on his special urinary diet. With the appropriate environment and diet Bennett will hopefully not have any issues in the future. If you're ready to provide this loving soul with the serene and caring home he deserves, Bennett is waiting to become your new furry companion. He would do best in a quiet home with no young kids or other cats and should be indoor only. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 5.2 Age: 3yrs 4mths 3wks
