Story
This sweet, shy little lady is so ready to find the purrrfect home where she can come out of her shell in her own time, with calm, quiet, understanding paw-rents! Guava came to us as part of a large surrender in Northern BC. She is shy at first and loves her hiding spots, but will happily accept ear & butt scratches, in fact this is when she feels the most comfortable to eat as well! She craves attention but is taking time to come out of her favorite hiding place. With slow and steady interactions we know when she's ready she'll let her big personality shine through! She was already starting to open up in shelter, making biscuits when giving her head and cheek scratches

Story
Mochi could be an NHL goalie with the way he can pounce on a treat coming towards him. Or, he could be an Olympic runner when you throw his favourite toy, even returning it so you can throw it again. He loves playing, even on his own, with these toys. He also enjoys bird watching. Mochi would be happy in a quiet, calm home with a single adult or couple. He is happy to adjust to his humans' routines. He sometimes demonstrates play aggression, so he would do best in an adult only, cat savvy home with people who are able to read and respond to his body language. Mochi would also like to be the only animal in the home. Given his history of living outside, Mochi sometimes shows an unhealthy interest in getting out, so he would be safest in a home with no direct access to the outdoors to ensure that he stays safely inside. He can't wait to meet you!

Story
Hi, my name is Hoshi. In Japanese, my name means "star" which is fitting because I am often the star of the show. I am a bit clumsy which can be very entertaining, and yes I'm a bit older but don't be fooled; you'll think I'm still a kitten once you spend some time with me. People are my favorite and I just love being around them so I'll spend most of my time wherever you are: sitting next to you on the couch or laying on your lap while you watch a movie. I'll even make you biscuits! I'm told I talk a lot, but it's really just when I really want to play with you or I'm really excited about meal time! I'm a bit nervous around loud noises such as the vacuum but it's okay I'll just go into the next room while you clean and wait for pets when you're finished. I love pets, but sometimes if I am over stimulated and a human touches my chest area, I may let them know petting time is over. I really enjoy when people bring out the string toy and I can chase it around, fetching treats, being brushed and sitting in the window watching the world go by on a sunny day. My foster family says I am really such a sweet kitty. I am looking for a home with a few gentle humans to watch over and play with.

Story
Hi! I'm Sally Bubally (BUB-BAH-LEE) the First. Why Bubally? Well, I'm a silly queen looking for my fur-ever Queen-dom. As a dainty damsel, I flop over on the floor, beds, and couches for scratches and luxurious naps next to my subjects. I am mercurial with my affections, and prefer that only my subject's hands, not faces, touch or approach my royal self. I possess a discerning palate (the uninformed call it "picky") and enjoy Churu. My court consists of kitten-sized stuffed animals which I love to carry around, hunt, bat around, and sometimes bestow upon a subject as a boon of my favour. I also hunt silly strings that my subjects wave around for me. I'm an avid bird-watcher and can while away my time looking out a window. I'm OK as the sole monarch in the castle, provided my subjects are home a lot; or with a calm buddy (feline jester). If you are ready to swear fealty and adore me as your new monarch, your time is now.

Story
This lovely and unique guy is looking for an experienced person to welcome him into his new forever home.Buddy Guy enjoys attention and affection, often expressing this through rubbing, purring, and actively soliciting attention. He loves to play with string and springy wand toys, will run after you up and down the stairs to play and chase toys, loves to scrabble through a tunnel, and climbs up to the top of the tall cat tree to nap. He also has amazing beside manners. Enjoying sleeping in the same room as you in his own bed and does not wake you up in the morning. He likes being picked up and carried around a bit as he is not much of a jumper. Loves to sit in a window that's open enough for him to smell the sights. We have recently learned from the foster that he is doing very well with harness training and has been practicing walking around the house with his harness and leash on. He is now enjoying going outside onto an cat proof patio so he can enjoy the outdoors safely, see photos! He is on medication for anxiety based behavioral issues and has improved greatly. He loves getting his medications daily in Churu. Any future medication adjustments should be discussed with the veterinarian to ensure the best fit for his well-being.Notably, Buddy Guy has shown positive progress in his behavior. He hasn't scratched in some time, and he is gradually becoming more comfortable sitting next to or on his human companions, displaying a sweet and affectionate side. He is learning to trust again. This little guy loves smelling people's breathIt's important to note that he may display certain cues, such as light scratching or biting when intentionally communicating he has had enough. Understanding and respecting these cues will contribute to positive interactions. While Buddy Guy has formed a strong connection with his foster, he would likely adapt and form connections with other individuals over time. Patience, consistency, and a loving environment will be key factors in his continued growth. In summary, Buddy Guy is a lovable and charming cat seeking a patient and understanding adopter who appreciates his unique personality. With the right environment and care, he has the potential to blossom into an even more affectionate and content companion. If you are looking for a feline friend with character and charm, consider welcoming Buddy Guy into your heart and home. Please submit an application online as he is currently in foster. Story
If you're looking for a gentle sweet lady, this little floof might be for you! Dino was recently rescued from outside 100 Mile House. She somehow survived the freezing temperatures and it's a miracle she made it. Dino is a very quiet little kitty that likes to assess the situation first. She observes all the new things and takes in the world around her. When she has assessed it, all, she comes out for pets and cuddles. Her ideal family would have older children and/or adults. She gets along with other cats. However, we don't recommend very dominant cats because they could easily take all the limelight. Dino would do well with other gentle cats, or on her own. Her tiny purrs and gorgeous eyes will captive your soul.
