Story
Zoey is a lovely, gentle cat who would prefer to live in a home with a human to interact with during the day. Zoey was rescued from the SPCA in September 2025 and has been living in a small condo without access to the outdoors, but this does not agree with Zoey. Zoey would prefer to live in a loving home with access to the outdoors. Zoey feels frustrated that she only has 500 square feet of territory, and that her people are only awake in her home for 5 hours a day. She would prefer that her humans worked from home or are retired so that she may play and cuddle with them between her naps, then be let out at night to play, but only after she's comfortable in her new home. Zoey is scared of new people, but warms up to them with treats. Zoey is 2 years old and the SPCA shared that she doesn't get along well with other cats. Zoey comes with everything you need for her: carrying bag, litter box, a 5ft cat tree, toys & food. Please reach out if you think you can provide what Zoey needs.

Story
Meet adoptable Camille! This super cute and sweet little one has a soft, shy nature that will melt your heart. Camille loves spending time with her sister, Klinker, and we’d be thrilled to see the two of them adopted together. That said, it’s not a requirement—Camille would also do well joining another kitten or a suitable young adult cat in her new home. Camille can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but a gentle approach and a few cheek scritches are the key to winning her over. Once she feels safe, she truly shines. We have no doubt that Camille will continue to blossom into a confident, loving companion in her adoptive home. Submit an Adoption Application here: https://www.rapsbc.com/adopt/ Camille is at the RAPS Adoption Centre at 3380 No 6 Rd, Richmond. We are open to visitors on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 - 4 PM. No appointment necessary. We recommend completing an adoption application first. Applications are reviewed by staff and successful candidates are contacted to set up a meet and greet. Meet and greets for successful applicants may be scheduled outside of regular visiting hours.

Story
Ricky is a charmer bursting with personality and curiosity. He is the spirited half of a bonded pair with his gentle companion, Audrey. With a perpetually quizzical look, Ricky often appears deep in thought, quietly studying his foster mom as though decoding the mysteries of human behaviour. Playful to his core, Ricky is devoted to Churu, treats, laser pointers, and anything involving string. Morning zoomies are a highlight of his day, bringing joyful energy to the household, and they are followed by time spent perched in the window. He is slowly gaining confidence, revealing more of his delightful personality each day. Ricky (and Audrey) were rescued after being abandoned at an industrial site, which may explain his cautious nature and preference for a calm environment, as loud or sudden sounds can be unsettling. Ricky is not yet keen on receiving pets. Interestingly, he enjoys watching music videos, content to observe the movement from a safe vantage point. Ricky is looking for a cat-savvy adopter, someone respectful of feline boundaries and unfazed by the occasional swat. A quieter, adult-only home with plenty of playtime would suit him perfectly as he will need patience to adjust. Together, Ricky and Audrey are true yin and yang companions, offering balance, warmth, and a deeply rewarding bond for the right home. Must adopt with Audrey.

Story
April is a sweet young cat who craves love and attention and wants to head-bump or cuddle with you as a thank you. She loses herself in happiness with a scratch on the neck or stroke on the back and she's soft as a bunny. Having come from a colony in an industrial area, April came to her foster home extremely anxious and withdrawn. But in three months, she learned to trust and to be a gentle and communicative kitty. She is patient and quiet as she awaits food or love and only gets quietly vocal if she is hungry. She still scampers at any movements behind her back or any loud sounds. However, April sleeps between her foster caregiver's pillows at night. In the evening, she hangs out with them in the living room; little by little, she is starting to trust more. She is also beginning to explore play by chasing feather wands and balls. April would prefer to be the only pet in the home. She would not adjust well to other cats, dogs, or small children. One or two quiet people would be ideal. She can't wait to meet you!
