Story
Meet Bear, a young feline resident of our local rescue. He's not your typical cat; Bear is brimming with curiosity and playfulness. His boundless energy is infectious, making every moment with him a delightful adventure. He's a fast learner too, mastering new tricks and games with surprising ease. Bear is also an affectionate companion, always ready to share a purr or a cuddle. Despite his youth, Bear has a mature understanding of boundaries, making him a perfect fit for families with children. Adopt Bear today and bring home a bundle of joy and companionship. At Orphan Kitten Rescue, we prioritize the well-being and socialization of our kittens, exposing them to various environments, including households with dogs, other cats, toddlers, and even the ubiquitous vacuum. Once our kittens have received a minimum of two vaccines, they are introduced to the kitty playroom, fostering interactions with their fellow feline companions. Our commitment to providing you with a healthy, content, and well-adjusted kitten translates into a higher adoption fee, allowing us to offer comprehensive benefits and minimize the need for immediate veterinary attention. Currently, our adoption fee is available at a reduced rate of $150 for some of our cats, with the exception of orange cats ($275) and white & Maine Coon cats ($300). Each kitten comes fully equipped with all three FVRCP vaccines, thorough deworming, parasite, flea, and tick treatment, microchipping with a lifetime registration, and more. While most of our kittens are spayed/neutered before adoption, those too small undergo our "foster to adopt" program, enabling adopters to build a strong bond with their new fur baby. To participate in the foster-to-adopt program, adopters pay the total adoption fee, with the spaying/neutering appointment scheduled by our staff once the kitten reaches the appropriate weight. For those looking to secure a specific kitten, a non-refundable hold fee of $125 can be placed. This fee ensures the removal of the listing and reserves the kitten for 14 days, unless otherwise agreed upon. To initiate the adoption process or arrange a meet and greet, please fill out the interest card on the posting or complete the attached adoption application. Our rescue is located in Northern California, precisely in Manteca, and we regret to inform you that we do not transport kittens out of state. Should you have any inquiries, feel free to reach us at info@orphankittenrescue.org or by text at 510-299-2031 to schedule a visit. Your understanding and support are greatly appreciated. ##1716356##

Story
Bellatrix has long haired tortoise shell colored fur – with an orange stripe down her nose and a beige chin. She loves to explore and play and once she gets to know you, she especially loves to snuggle. She is the one who will always be in your lap taking a nap. These cuties were born six months ago on a ranch. They have been fostered longer than usual to build up their people skills. They need a little extra time to get used to a new place and new people. They have completed their medical. They have been treated for fleas and worms; FIV & Feline Leukemia negative, & spayed/neutered. They have microchips. They can be adopted with a sibling or other pal. A portion of the adoption fee will be waived for these young cats.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Ariel (squeaks) Hello! My name is Ariel. I’m a spayed 7 month old super sweet and loving black and white tuxedo kitten. My current foster parents call me the hide and seek champ due to my keen hiding skills under shoe racks, on top of shelves, in closets and one time, in the chimney flue (I was quickly called a little Chim-chimerie because of it haha). My foster parents have learned that although I am initially shy and like to hide, once I warm up, I want all the cuddles and love and will follow you around like a little shadow (although I do still like my little safe spaces to hide when I nap alone or too many people come over). I always use soft paws and enjoy being held when I am with my trusted humans. I would benefit from being with home that will give me space and time to adjust but will also continue to encourage me to come out more and be with my humans! I am also easily coaxed out of hiding with Churu liquid treat sticks (I love treats so much!) I like other cats and quickly make cat friends but am still a little unsure still around dogs (I mean they bark so loud who wouldn’t, right?). It takes me some time to warm up to new people but once I do, I’ll make myself at home, cuddle with you, follow you around, request for all the pets and love but will still probably be a Houdini here and there :o) I am searching for the right humans who can give me space and be patient with me as I adjust and give me all the love and cuddles/scratches. Im currently looking for the right furever home ❤️ are you my family? Adoption available through the Feral Cat Foundation. Contact Courtney for more info +1 (510) 579-1129

Story
Felix is a delightful 12 year old medium to long haired white and black cat. He has beautiful large eyes and likes to make soft eye contact with his chosen person. He is a gentle love bug and enjoys being brushed. He is initially shy and we believe will do best as an only cat in a calm adult homet. His new home will be strictly indoors. He is microchipped and current on vaccines. In July 2022 he had a full dental cleaning with a few needed extractions. Thanks for reading & please spread the word.

Story
I want to rehome BOTH of my cats. The white one is Casper, and the black and white one is Stinson. Casper is Stinson's aunt, and they have been together for all of Stison's life. Casper is about 3 years old and Stinson is about 2. They get along perfectly, and have no behavioral issues. Great with other animals, and great with our 4 year old son. The only reason I am getting rid of them is that I am moving and am unable to bring them with me. Both are spayed and neutered already. I really want them to go together.
