Meet Darwin and brother Splash. Both boys are polydactyl, meaning that they have extra toes! For these kitties, it this means they have superior biscuit making skills, can snatch flying feather toys in mid-air, swat a rolling ball back across the room, and tackle the toy mice with hunting prowess. When not on normal cat duty, they are snuggled up to their humans for pets and a nap.  Splash and Darwin are bonded and will be adopted together. Great with kids, dogs, cats and chaos! If not for the dedicated work of his foster mom and the veterinary team at OVMC, this boy would not be alive today. His rescue story is a bit lengthy but feel free to contact us at info@catsupport.net for a full length history. Angus is a very chill boy. He is fairly independent but once he bonds with you he will follow you from room to room and sleep next to you. He is a very easy going kitty! So if you are looking for an easy kitty that’s not overly active Angus is the purrfect match. Angus has hypothyroidism and will need to continue to take a medication everyday for the rest of his life. Medicating him is extremely easy! Place the pill in his morning wet food and he will gobble it right up. Because of his condition he will need consistent vet check ups either annually or biannually to make sure his condition is still being treated correctly.    Angus needs a calm household with no young children or preferably with no children at all as he prefers his environment to be calm. Rescued from living under a freeway she is very sweet but is also still learning to fully trust. She is very hand shy and will be very shy at first until she bonds with you. She will take an extended amount of time to adjust to a new household but once she gets comfortable and bonds with you she LOVES pets, tolerates being held and enjoys spending time in your lap while you pet her. She naturally has a shy demeanor but offer her her daily wet food and give her treats and you’ll earn her trust. Once she knows her daily routine of wet food and treats and she has fully bonded to you she will rub in between your legs with happiness. She does great with other kitties with slow and proper introduction. She has not been introduced to dogs yet but any dog in her adopted home should only be an already cat friendly dog with a calm demeanor. She would not do well with a very active dog that is always wanting to play or chase. Because of Bunnys timidness she needs a calm household with no young children. Typical Tortie behavior she can sometimes get mouthy when over stimulated but discontinuing pets when she gets like this should traun her over time.
