Ilmenite is an low-maintenance lady; she eats well and has perfect litterbox manners. She enjoys the company of other cats, whether just hanging out together or running around to chase and play! With people, Ilmenite is aloof; she doesn't like to be picked up and is apprehensive of hands reaching out to grab her. On a quiet evening, she'll come join you peaceably on the couch but prefers to keep to herself. She loves her cat tower and spends much of the day there. This is a foot pad disease of cats that is fairly classical in its appearance yet its significance is poorly understood. Cassidy enjoys looking out of windows and patio doors in his foster home. He also enjoys laying down and getting petted, but he is not a lap cat. He does join his foster caregivers in the family room on his favorite chair. He is very gentle and easy going; he does also have a burst of energy every now and then, and enjoys chasing his mice when his foster throws them for him, but he isn't that playful.Cassidy is a quiet, mellow guy. He enjoys affection on his own terms, liking to sleep with his human but not necessarily a lap cat on a regular basis. Cassidy is an adult cat, between 4 and 7 years old. He was surrendered to Valley Humane after her owner moved out of state and could not take the cat along.Cassidy's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous donor in memory of their beloved cat. In addition, Valley Humane will provide the first 6 months of his prescription diet to his adopter.Cassidy was diagnosed with crystalluria based on analysis of a urine sample. Due to this, it is recommended that he be fed a veterinary urinary die (i.e. Hill's c/d multicare, Royal Canin SO, Purina St/Ox). Feeding this prescription diet and encouraging increased water consumption will help to prevent him from having urinary blockage issues in the future. Finnegan is one happy hippity hoppity little boy. He loves all things that roll, specifically springs and ping pong balls. Ok....who are we kidding, he loves ALL the cat toys! Finn prefers not to be carried around but absolutely loves rubbing up against your legs and getting shoulder rubs and back scratches. He has the smallest and sweetest little meow that will just melt your heart. Finnegan also has a big case of the morning kitten zoomies... so you might wake up to a comedy show free of charge!
