Hi there! My name is Mittens and I am a 5 year old domestic medium hair available at the Santa Maria Campus. I would love a home where I can explore and tap into my wild side. I enjoy sunbathing and playing with my toys. I am curious and ready to check out my new world! I have asthma, but that doesn't stop me from living my best life and I would love to live it with you! Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission. Hope to see you soon!

Alice is such a sweet girl. She’s very calm and she does not like to get worked up! She doesn’t like to be picked up, but she loves to be right next to you. I know she wants to climb on my lap, but she’s been afraid to Dash. I’m not sure what happened to her in the past for this to have happened. I would not be looking for a home for her if I were not in desperate position. She does like to play and she likes some treats, but it’s not super food motivated. She’s just a great companion.
