Story
My family and I are moving out of state soon and unfortunately need to re-home our 3, beautiful, female cats as we are unable to travel with 3 cats, a dog and 4 people. I have reached out to the shelters and they aren't taking in any surrendered animals at this time, so I have been posting on different platforms and hoping to have some luck on here. I'm posting our youngest cat, Yumi, white and black pattern, adopted from the Humane Society on HWY 12 on 1/20/23 at 3mo. old. Yumi is an indoor/outdoor cat that is a little shy and cautious at first, but once you and her establish a relationship/bond she warms up and loves to be petted and cuddled and laying on the sofa to nap. She is fine with large dogs, other cats and kids. If you would like any additional info. please reach out.

Story
Rocky is sponsored by: Barbara McMahon SNAP Cats rescued Rocky from Fresno, CA. Due to his severe CH, Rocky is currently not walking. We are working with him to try to get him on his feet. That said, Rocky gets to where he’s going by crawling and flopping, and he does make it to the litter box most of the time, so that’s a plus!. The minus is that he makes a big mess of litter outside the box trying to cover his business. Rocky eats on his own, whether it’s kibble or wet food, and is a real love. We’re all hoping that Rocky will start walking soon. Hey, years ago we had a cat named Boxes (yes, that was his name) who flopped around for 4 years, then one day decided to stand up and walk. So there is hope! If you’re interested in Rocky please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks!May 9, 2024, 7:09 pm

Whisper is sponsored by: Stephanie Li SNAP Cats rescued Whisper from Fresno, CA. Both Whisper and his brother, Rocky, are available. However, they are currently not walking due to their severe CH. We are working with them (physical therapy) to try to get them on their feet, so we're taking applications on them until we determine whether we think they'll walk or not. We'd like to see them adopted together, but they can go separately to the right homes. May 9, 2024, 7:09 pm

Story
Gracie is sponsored by: Dana Nashida SNAP Cats rescued Gracie from San Leandro, CA. Despite her age, Gracie runs around like a 3 month-old kitten. She’s extremely playful and one of the happiest kitties we’ve had in a long time. Gracie can be a bit shy at first when meeting new faces, but once she gets to know you she LOVES the attention. Gracie uses the litter box 100% of the time and gets along great with the other kitties. She’ll make a wonderful addition to any home, either with our without other cats. Gracie completed treatment for FIP on April 2, 2024. Although we can’t guarantee that Gracie won’t develop FIP again, she’s remained very healthy since completing her treatment. If you’re interested in Gracie please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.May 9, 2024, 7:09 pm

Story
Sylvester came to WCAL from the Napa Shelter because his medical needs were more than they could tackle and we all know that a shelter is no place for a senior kitty to feel their best. In the past three months, he has gotten a dental to remove the infected teeth and thanks to steroid injections and laser treatments, the ulcers in his mouth have healed. We are so happy for him! Sylvester has been an exceptionally tolerant patient. Thankfully he's got a wonderful, loving personality and he is just happy to be the center of attention and happy to receive all the love and attention. Sylvester is a fantastic lap cat.He is having an easier time eating canned food now that his mouth is no longer painful. Sylvester eats a prescription canned food for Kidney health. He's a little messy since he no longer has any teeth, but he likes it when his humans wipe off his cute little chin! Sylvester is also letting his foster give him daily or every other daily subcutaneous fluids to make sure he remains hydrated and keep his kidneys healthy.Look up affectionate in the dictionary, and youll see a photo of this small senior boy cat. He is a definite lap cat! Sylvester is eager to be included in whatever the hoomans are up to! Sylvester is 10 years old, 8 pounds, and available for adoption to a loving home. Story
Hello, I'm Zoom Zoom, a seasoned lady with a heart full of love. My days are simple, filled with gentle purrs and soft naps. I've seen many sunrises and moonlit nights, each one sweeter than the last. I enjoy the simple pleasures in life - a cozy lap, a soft stroke, a kind word. My purr, a melody of contentment, is my way of saying 'thank you' for every act of kindness. I believe in second chances, in new beginnings. I'm ready for a new chapter, one filled with love, warmth, and companionship. Will you be the one to turn the page? Adopt Zoom Zoom, and let's write our story together. Story
Hello there, I'm Kitty. I'm a young soul, a bit on the shy side, but don't let that fool you. I'm filled with curiosity about the world around me. I'm still learning, you see. Each new sound, each new scent, it's all an adventure. I love exploring, finding new corners to hide in, new toys to play with. It's a big world out there and I'm just a small part of it. I may be shy, but I have a lot of love to give. Will you be the one to share my journey? To apply for adoption, please complete our application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WCAR/Cat

She is confident, outgoing, and social, but likes things on her terms. Kirra is that big, beautiful, fluffy cat that everyone just wants to hug! However, Kirra does not like hugs and would much rather just be rubbing on your legs or hanging out nearby. She enjoys petting (on her terms), loves playtime, and will chase the wand toy around the room before flopping over to play on her side. She may be a big girl, but she can really move and she loves to move! She previously lived with another cat and needs lots of stimulation to keep her busy and prevent boredom. Kirra wants to run the show and is the queen of her own space. She needs a cat savvy guardian who can read her signals and respect her needs as her own feline. This beautiful, independent young cat has a lot to offer, she just needs someone to understand her! Story
Meet Miss Pumpkin! She is a true tortie with a tortie-tude to match. She loves to play, but will also cuddle when tired. She is very confident and has no issue setting boundaries with other animals. She was born 9/8/21, came to us as a solo 3 week old bottle baby and is now ready for her forever home. She has been raised around 4 kids ages 3-12, small dogs and other cats. Currently in a foster home, you can set up a day to come meet this kitty (on Saturdays during adoption event hours). Please give us at least a week's notice via  wtfnapa@gmail.com or  (707) 258-2287 so our volunteers have time to answer messages and get back to you. Thank you!  Cats/kittens come spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and more with an adoption fee/donation to Whiskers, Tails and Ferals in Napa, CA. Story
Noodle is about 4 months old as of September 2022. Noodle is the biggest lover and he goes out of his way to show it. He will head butt you to get love (in the most gentle way of course), and he will rub his body all over yours until you give into his cuteness and give him some head scratches. He is great with kids, cats, and a small dog. Currently in a foster home, you can set up a day to come meet this kitty (on Saturdays during adoption event hours).
