It took them time to adjust to the shelter, but they become a little more comfortable and affectionate each day. Nurse Flittermouse has an adorable little meow, offers load of rubs, tests out laps, and loves the fuzzy worm wand. Dr. Pumpkin offers gentle head bunts, enjoys petting, and likes playing mouse wand. Ariel is a gentle soul. She is a sweet and quiet kitty who wants nothing more than to be curled up beside you, purring and enjoying cuddles. She loves lap time appreciates having her long fur brushed. Ariel is seeking peaceful home in need of a sweetheart kitty. Ariel gets along with other cats and is tolerant of the household dogs. Like many cats, Ariel will need some time and patience while she acclimates to her new home and new family. She is shy with unfamiliar people, places or situations. Ariel and her littermates were found in a barn at 2 months old, and they were nervous, unsocialized kittens. Ariel was the shiest of the group and took the longest to really learn to trust and to be affectionate with people. Say hello to little miss Ivy! This sweet gal is just as cute as can be and she had a darling personality to match. Ivy came to Forgotten Felines when a good Samaritan brought her in thinking she had a broken leg. She does walk with a limp, but not because of a break, but because she is missing a foot! Ivy was likely born without one of her little back feet, and it doesn't slow her down one bit. She runs, jumps, climbs, and plays like any other kitty, but she does need a little extra help when her ear gets itchy, since she doesn't have the foot to scratch it! Ivy is very shy when she meets new people, and it takes her a long time to build trust with humans- we think that wherever she was before Forgotten Felines, she likely was not treated very kindly. But, once she realizes that you're not so scary, Ivy is all about the love. She absolutely adores being pet, she even rolls over for belly rubs. And when she's not getting lots and lots of pets, you can find her playing with her favorite toys, watching birds and lizards through the window, eating tasty treats, and hanging out with her best friend, Dusty. We think the best forever home for Ivy, and Dusty, would be one with calm and patient adults- people who are cat savvy and know that they are worth the wait. Ivy and Dusty would love to have a forever home together, and they also are interested in other animals, so having another feline companion or even an easy-going dog friend would be great!
