Story
DOB 7/1/2020 Charlie is a big boy who was rescued as an injured stray. He needed his tail amputated. He has a strong personality so he would be best as the only pet but would be okay with proper introductions to a friendly female cat. He needs a quiet home with a patient person who understands cats and can tell when they have had enough attention. Charlie loves to be petted but when he has had enough he may swat at you. He will need time to adjust in a small room until he trusts you. Please give his big boy a forever home.

Story
Meet our sweet and spicy young kitty named Tiki! Tiki came to our shelter after she was found abandoned in a basement, left without food or water. We believe Tiki is a kitten who is under 1 year old. Tiki is very affectionate and seeks out attention. She is also a lover of food, both canned and dry. Tiki is becoming very pent up here living in a cage. She would love to be adopted in to a home soon so she can be out and about exploring and playing. She is still a young girl who can be feisty when she wants to be. She still likes to play/love bite for attention, but who can blame her when she is so young and cannot get her energy out while sitting in a cage? Tiki is an outgoing little girl who just needs some attention and room to spread out. At this time, we are looking for either an adult only home, or a home with older children for Tiki. Tiki isn't a huge fan of other cats and she gets overstimulated around them. We think she would do better in a home where she can be the only cat. If you are interested in adopting Tiki, Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! Her adoption fee is $75.00. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! Meriden Animal Control IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. The office phone number is 203-235-4179. Leave a message, and someone will call you back promptly. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME. For more info please call 203-235-4179 (Always Leave A Message) or email adopt@savingpawsct.org

Story
Hey there, I'm Blossom! I popped into this world in February and let me tell you, I'm a whopping 3 pounds of adorable fluff! I may be a little shy at first, but once you crack my tough exterior, I'm a total chatterbox.   I'm all about that kitty social life, so I'm looking for a home with a feline friend my age or a tad older. Dogs are cool too, as long as they respect my personal space. And let's not forget about the kiddos - as long as they're polite and understand my boundaries, we'll get along just fine.   But you know what really gets my whiskers twitching? A cozy spot by the window where I can keep tabs on the neighborhood action. I may or may not be a professional spy, so let's keep that between us, okay?   So what do you say? Will you take me home and let me be your partner in crime, um, I mean, your forever kitty companion? Let’s cause some mischief together (oops - I mean, let’s have a fun time…)   Apply at www.astdogrescue.com   ##2060656##
