Story
We would like you to meet Opie!   Opie is a very handsome 1 year old cat looking for his forever home. Opie is a little more reserved at first but warms up quickly. He is comfortable around other cats, and dogs. He would be fine in a home with kids as long as they were respectful. As always we do not allow kittens to be adopted alone to prevent single kitten syndrome. Therefore there must be another young cat in the home or Opie must be adopted with another kitten.  To adopt Opie, please visit our website and fill out an application. astdogrescue.com ##1800445##

Story
Anyone who adopts me is lucky! I love to get attention and be petted, and people tell me I'm beautiful too. I'm a petite little thing at barely seven pounds. My foster says I'm a tiny sweetheart. I have lots of character including a meow like a chain smoking grandma when I'm hungry. I had an injury as a kitten so I limp. I can still run and jump, use the stairs and I'm not pain. The orthopedic doctor says I should be okay for life. i would like a nice quiet home where I can sleep in a lap or curl up on my favorite pillow. I'm on a limited ingredient diet but otherwise healthy and would make someone a great companion!!

Story
Bella is an adult cat who is young at heart. She loves to play with the laser and hair ties are her favorite. Bella likes to perch on the window and cuddle. She understands simple commands “no, get down, come” she begs to be picked up. Bella is currently on prescription cat food for a kidney stone that doesn’t need surgical attention. The cat food is prescription, we have an hard copy of it , and she is very picky about having a clean water bowl and litter box. Hoping she’ll be rehomed to someone who can give her endless cuddles as we have become a busy family and she loves attention. Bella will be rehomed with and automatic food dispenser, and plenty of food, food storage container, water bowls, litter box and litter, litter box enclosure & scooper, her window perch, and a grooming kong brush that she loves.

Story
This is "Noble". Noble is about 1 year and 6 months old. His hair, which is a little on the longer side, is mostly black with beautiful white markings. We find Noble to be quite handsome! Noble was born behind the Barnes & Noble book store in Waterbury. He is not wild but he needs some time to settle down and just relax. Having said that, we are looking for someone that has time for Noble, someone who will take the necessary time to help Noble be able to settle down and just relax in his new home. Noble needs someone to love him, to understand him and to be kind to him. Noble is somewhat on the quiet side. He should be the only cat in the house until he has an attachment with his new owner. Then he would probably welcome a cat friend in the house. As for a dog in the house, Noble is scared of dogs. In Noble's new home, children must be 6 years old or older. Noble got neutered, he got his shots and he tested negative for feline leukemia/aids. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules. The adoption fee for Noble is $150.00. No credit cards. You can meet any of our animals at Petco located at 201 Union Street in Waterbury on Saturday during our adoption hours from 12:00 to 3:00 so, if you are interested in meeting Noble or a particular animal, please email us at feline55keeper@gmail.com and we will be certain to bring that particular animal with us to Petco on Saturday. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE STRESS THAT IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE...NO EXCEPTIONS!

~ I want to live with kids over 14 years of age.**~ I need to be the only cat in the home.~ I don't have much experience with dogs but I may consider living with a canine companion. ~Luna is an independent lady who enjoys social interaction on her terms. We have found that she doesn't love being held for long periods of time but will welcome petting and playing when she is ready.
