Please complete our online Adoption Application (https://www.saveourstraysinc.com/adopt/adoption-application/). An application is required to move forward with any adoption. NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE! All Save Our Strays Inc cats have been sterilized, given one distemper vaccine, a rabies vaccine, microchip, and have been tested for FeLV if under 6 months of age and for both FeLV/FIV if older. A contract must be completed prior to any adoption after approval of the adopter by one of our adoption volunteers. There is a screening process so merely wanting to adopt doesn't make someone eligible to adopt. Adoptions are approved at the discretion of the screeners. Please note cats come in and out of foster homes so seeing a cat on this site does not guarantee it will be available when you contact us. Also we do not adopt on a first come first serve basis. The present adoption fee is $125.00 (please note this amount may change without notification). Renters will be asked to provide proof that pets are allowed. Placements are made based on the needs of each cat. ##1982133##

Story
We would like to introduce you to Clarice: the Regina George of HSP. Miss Clarice is a pretty girl and she knows it. While she may be pretty, she isn't all looks. She is quite confident, often being referred to as the "queen bee" and has a sharp wit about her that keeps you on your toes. If cats were capable of being spiteful, Clarice would more than likely be keeping tabs on the staff that don't give her enough treats in a burn book of her own. Similar to The Plastics, Clarice does strive to gain everyone's approval; usually through (cute) manipulation. When in the mood- she will absolutely use your desire to pet her, against you. Clarice plays hard like a kitten; it would be in the best interest of all human hands to utilize a toy for play. In the time that Clarice has been surrounded by HSP magic, we've began to see the soft, needy side of her. Clarice, like all HSP residents, is looking for a mom (or dad). Not just a regular mom (or dad) but a cool mom (or dad). If you think that you could be Clarice's cool mom (or dad), stop by and meet her. She will be the girl in pink!

Story
Lily, along with her brother Cloud, were tiny stray kittens that showed up in our backyard at the end of January looking for food. We estimate both her and her brother are around 9 months old at this point judging by their tiny state when we first saw them. Lily is a shy quiet girl and while she isn't very communicative with her meows, she tells you everything she is thinking with her facial features! She is intensely curious and very clever, with a touch of sass. She loves to have areas where she can hide away and sleep. So far she is not very affectionate but her favorite thing to do is to sit back and comfortably observe. Pictures do not do her cuteness justice and her sassy assures that she will open up with one on one time. Lily has been very comfortable around other cats. Her shy and quiet exterior belies her love to play with both toys and fellow felines. While not as food motivated as Cloud, Lily will allow rubs during treats. I would highly suggest a quiet home for her.
