Story
Tabitha is a prissy young girl. She loves to eat, play, and explore. She is curious and talkative. She loves to get in her cubby hole in her cat tree especially with catnip. She will climb in and ask you to pour some out for her. She loves to play with other kitties and her toys. She does great in a travel crate, car and at events. She is fairly laid back and has not met a stranger yet. She likes to be near you especially when you are working at your desk. She will sleep in the bed with you by your legs. She is terrified of dogs so far. We believe she had a bad encounter in her past. We believe she would be best suited for a home with at least 1 other kitty and older children.  Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application At https://form.jotform.com/232355976148163 This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. Our adoption fee is $100 for all our cats. They have been given age-appropriate vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, have been feline leukemia/ feline aids tested, dewormed, have received flea prevention, and are micro-chipped. We will ensure the microchip is registered. If more information is needed regarding the pet email info@streetpaws.org. Story
Hello, my name is Oaken. I am looking for a family of my very own. I am 3 years old. I love to play and cuddle with my kitty friends. I get along with dogs and other cats. I am litter box trained. My foster mom says I am so cute and that I will have a forever family of my very own someday soon. I am shy at first but soon I could be your very best friend. I am fully vetted and ready to go to my forever home. If you are looking for a sweet kitty, please consider adopting me. Story
'Courtesy Post' This is not a Street Paws animal but we are assisting a family with placing their pet.  Meet Leo Leo is a charming senior cat with a unique personality. He was abandoned at a vet clinic and found his forever person in December 2015 when the user's mom, grieving the loss of her dog, welcomed him into her life. They were inseparable until her passing. Leo is friendly and food-motivated, bonding easily with those who feed him. He appreciates affection but on his terms—3-4 strokes are his limit before he lets you know he’s done. For someone seeking companionship without the constant need for cuddles, Leo is the perfect match. This grumpy yet lovable gentleman is quiet and low-maintenance, only becoming vocal when he thinks it’s feeding time. All of his supplies will accompany him to his new home. Leo is ideal for someone who values having a pet nearby for quiet company and an occasional chat at mealtime. Are you the one to give Leo his next chapter of comfort and care? Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150 mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  Adoption fee is $75 To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at  https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt. Story
Wiley is about 18 months old. He was dropped off at a friend's house about a year ago. They asked us to take him and we did. He has been neutered and has had a rabies shot. I'm not sure when he is due for his next shot but l have the paperwork for both his neutering and shot We are trying to re-home him because we have 2 older female cats with heart murmurs that he continuously chases and terrorizes. He is a good cat and loves people....he just really wants to be the alpha male and the girls will not have it. We would love to see him go to an older person who just wants a loving lap cat. We do not let our cats go outside but he wants to go out. He will sit at the window and watch the squirrels all day.
