Story
Svetlana is a gentle, soft-hearted companion who thrives on quiet connection and cozy moments. She’s the kind of cat who will happily follow you from room to room, simply enjoying being near her person. Her absolute favorite? Bedtime. Sveta lives for snuggles and has a sweet little routine—she’ll settle onto your chest for her signature two-minute petting session before curling up beside you. It’s her special way of bonding, and it’s truly the highlight of her day. Sveta can be shy with new people and will likely retreat to a quiet hiding spot when strangers visit. But give her time, and her curious side starts to shine—she loves to explore her surroundings once she feels safe. Sveta would do best in a calm, patient home where she can build trust at her own pace and enjoy all the cozy companionship she craves. If you’re looking for a quiet, affectionate shadow who will share your space (and your bed!), Svetlana might just be your perfect match. 🐾 Put in an application to meet her today!

Story
Urgent Plea:  Foster or Adopt Maize, a Special Kitty in Need (Metro Atlanta area Only) Meet Maize – A Young, Semi-Feral Kitty Seeking a Loving Home Maize is a beautiful kitty who was rescued from a neighborhood overwhelmed with stray and feral cats. Despite the challenges, Maize was successfully trapped and brought to a vet immediately for testing, vaccines, spaying, and microchipping. She was severely matted and underweight, likely having to fight and scrounge for food. Current Situation: Maize has been in a foster home for the past five months, where she has flourished. Her fur has grown back beautifully, showcasing her long tabby coloring. Although she remains timid, she is far from "wild." Maize prefers not to be picked up, but she is quite easy to care for. Unfortunately, due to changes in the foster home’s life circumstances, Maize needs to find a new home as soon as possible.  We urgently need a special person to foster or adopt her. Why Maize Needs You: Maize is still on her journey to becoming fully socialized. She needs a patient and understanding individual who can respect her boundaries and help her continue to feel safe and loved. With time and care, many semi-feral cats like Maize have successfully adapted to loving homes. It just takes patience and love! Living Arrangements: Maize would do best in a cat-only household without dogs or young children. Setting her up in a “kitty house” (like this one) where she can be exposed to people in the household can help her adjust. Benefits of Another Cat: Having another cat in the home could be beneficial for Maize, as seen in the success story of "Grey" in the YouTube video. We Need Your Help! We have no other options for Maize and are relying on someone special to open their heart and home to this deserving kitty. Please consider giving Maize the chance she deserves. Contact Information: If you are interested in fostering or adopting Maize, please email passionforanimals5017@gmail.com. Thank you for your kindness and consideration. TOM COOL and PLAYFUL and FUNNY but suffers from the "Black Cats are the Last to get ADOPTED" syndrome! Meet Handsome GUY    – Tom is a great cat.  About 2 years or younger. He is begging for someone to adopt, pet him, play with him! He is FIV positive but very healthy, no issues, and AWHAR will GUARANTEE his health for life, including any future dentals when adopted!! HE IS hilarious, huge personality.  LOVES treats and will chase a feather toy like crazy.  Strong, smart, muscular jawline and gorgeous face, and full of vigor, as many young cats are, but learning fast not to....listens well and understands signals, but unfortunately too much vigor for his older house mates at the rescue. He is very sweet and will BE A GREAT cat/companion/LOYAL friend. Background: He took up residence as a stray teen kitten at a lady's home in Lilburn who had three other cats, all inside.  He moved onto her porch.  He had to fight for food outside her home. The nice lady had to give him up since she was terminally ill and had to move to an apartment.  We saved him, fully vetted him, and he is ready for a HOME of his own. WE WILL GUARANTEE HIS HEALTH.  IF you foster, we pay all expenses as well as a fee!  Why You'll Love SULLY: Affectionate Companion: is a total love bug who thrives on attention and cuddles. Playful Spirit: He loves toys and playtime, always ready for the next game. Litter Box Pro: This boy has impeccable litter box manners Smart & Eager: TomTom is intelligent and always eager to please — the perfect mix of brains and heart. LWAYS a trial basis and we will take him back now or in the future!! NO obligation and JUST HOPING someone can give this guy a break with some fun!!  Email (Preferred): awhar09@gmail.com Call/Text Janet: 404-520-1060 Visit: www.awhar.org   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 18, 2026, 5:29 pm

Story
Meet Dahlia — a curious, independent sweetheart with a dash of shyness and a sprinkle of humor. Found alongside her sister, Ivy, locked inside a Publix shopping cart corral, Dahlia has shown incredible resilience and adaptability. She’s settled beautifully into clinic life, charming everyone with her funny expressions, gentle spirit, and love of quiet exploration. Dahlia enjoys peaceful moments tucked into cozy corners or perched atop the tallest cat tree, keeping a calm watch on her world. Her independent nature makes her a wonderful match for someone who appreciates a cat with personality, grace, and a gentle presence. While she may be shy at first, her affection grows with trust — and when it does, it’s truly special. Dahlia is bonded with her sister, Ivy, and they must be adopted together. If you can open your heart and home to these two sweet girls — even temporarily — they will reward you with love, companionship, and endless smiles.
