Story
Did you know Fancy missed out on being the Fancy Feast model because she missed her audition? You can’t be this beautiful without your beauty rest, right? Ok so she may not have had an audition, but we all know if she had, she would have gotten the part! This beautiful girl is a diva through and through. She loves being swooned over and will make her presence known by following you around the house. When she is not napping, she can be found partying with sting. Fancy insists on a household that will allow her to be the star that she is. This means she will only share her household with calm, introverted inhabitants. Children are fine, once she adjusts, as long as they know to give her some space. Unfortunately, she has had one to many bad experiences with adult males after her previous owner passed away. This has resulted in some major trust issues with men, and we believe she may do best in a household without them. She would make an excellent companion for someone who needs to fill that empty void in their heart.   Adoption Process: Step 1 :     Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under the applications tab.  Adopters must live within 100 miles of Florence, KY. Step 2:     PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable) Step 3:     IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet. Step 4:    If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit. February 23, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Looking to adopt a wonderful young cat? Then Tucky, our foster cat, could be for you! We found Tucky, in Kentucky (hence the name) while we were on vacation. He was an outdoor cat and his owners were looking to find him a new home as they could not care for him. He needed some medical care including treating a bad eye infection and getting neutered and up to date on all shots. All of that is complete now so we are now looking for his forever home! Tucky is a wonderful cat that is good with dogs & kids and fully litter trained. He loves to get his ears rubbed, run around playing with his cat toys and to cuddle with you (and our dogs) at night. He also loves watching the birds & squirrels in the backyard. He is only around 5 pounds and about 1 year old. If you have questions please reach out to his foster mom at mandyulrey86@gmail.com or if you are interested in adopting him please fill out an adoption application at https://www.shelteredpaws.com/adoptions

Story
Xenia had a home, but sadly her owner broke her hip and can no longer care for her.  She is back in foster care now and doing great.... Here is what her foster has to say about her -  As for size her body frame is small but right now she is over weight so I've got her on a diet. I have several cats in my house and she transitioned to them all pretty quickly. She pretty much leaves them alone and the others leave her alone but I do feel like she enjoys the company of having another cat in the house. She LOVES human attention, knows her name and once she settles she will come when called. She is a little quirky in that she likes to be chased. If I approach her sometimes she will full speed run away from me then stop and look to see if I'm following her....she makes a game out of it.  Xenia is fiv positive, but that is really no big deal and we can give you info on this.  She was born summer of 2014 and is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated and negative for felv. Adoption fee $60. Here is a link to the application http://purrfectfriendscatrescue.org/adoptform.htmlFebruary 26, 2024, 5:16 pm

Story
THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue and its volunteers have not evaluated this animal in any way and can not be held liable for the current condition or future care of the animal. Please work with the specific contact in the posting to confirm if the animal is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested, etc. and for a complete description of the animal's personality and behavior traits. Boy was my dad's favorite cat caring for him initially as an  outdoor cat, even neutering him and taking him to the vet, as needed,  when he hurt himself outside.  After many years, Dad coaxed Boy to " retire" inside.  Boy established himself as the dominant cat in the  home - not at all mean or hurtful to the other cats, simply a gentle  dictator.  Boy loves to lap sit.  His teeth are not in great shape, but  he eats well. He seems sensitive to a lot of petting. Dad thought his  sensitivity was due to the rough time he experienced as an outside cat.   Boy would be best loved and cared for by another retired gentleman who  would love to have one faithful lap cat. His owner passed away unexpectedly and he and his feline siblings are looking for new homes. Contact Ginger for more information  catmom4766@gmail.com or  937-693-3910 February 26, 2024, 5:16 pm
