Story
Stubbs came from the Johnson County Animal Shelter in need of medical assistance. None of us are sure what happened but somewhere along the way, Stubbs ended up with a pretty gross tail injury that resulted in a tail amputation. His tail at this point is basically non existent but he's super cute with his lil nub. What Stubbs lacks in tail he makes up for in spirit (not that he needed to make up for the loss of his tail, am I right?). He is a sensitive soul who is gentle, kind, and loving. His companionship is soothing to the soul and brings so much calm to anxious, stressful days. He's a little hesitant about it at first but he loves to play. Laser and string toys are his favorites so far. Stubbs is about a year old, neutered, UTD on core and FeLV vaccinations, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, and on monthly flea preventative. His adoption fee is $75 and his application can be found here: www.jcccats.org/adoption-application **Do NOT call with adoption questions, the volunteer who handles our phone calls does not handle our adoptions. Please email tnr@jcccats.org instead**

Story
Meet Castroneves! He and his friend Olive were left behind in a move; they were found trying to get back into the house. Castroneves is a gorgeous one year old with a bushy beautiful tail. He very much enjoys the company of people; he loves attention and being petted, but prefers not to be held. Castroneves has a curious and brave personality, so he would likely adapt well in most homes. This handsome guy is ready to find his true forever family.  Thank you for your interest in adopting from HMF.  All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped and otherwise healthy, unless noted in the description.  Our adoption area is within 50 miles of Franklin/Bargersville, IN. Story
He is a great cat. Very affectionate, wants to be in the same room with you, will sit on lap and play and do all the things you want from a cat. He purrs easily and loves every person he has ever met. He likes to “talk” to you. He needs a family or a person that can give him more attention than I can. He has gotten along well with other cats in the past. FWIW - I will give you his small cat tree (3 feet high), 2 litter box cabinets, his cat carrier, vet papers

Story
Meet Gooseberry (Goose for short), an adorable kitten who's all about curiosity and energetic play. At first, his shy demeanor hides a world of potential companionship. But don't let that fool you. Once he warms up, his sweet nature shines through, making him the perfect companion for quiet evenings. Goose isn't just a kitten who likes moderate activity, he's always ready to explore and his high energy level keeps him active throughout the day. Goose has an insatiable appetite for adventure, but he's not one for climbing. He'd rather be on the ground, exploring his surroundings and chasing after catnip toys. He's a social butterfly, too. He loves to play with his siblings, and he's always the first one to initiate a game of tag or hide-and-seek. Goose would love to be adopted with one of his siblings, or share his forever home with another feline friend. But don't let his playful nature fool you - Goose is also a loving and affectionate kitten who enjoys cuddling and purring contentedly in your lap. Goose would make a wonderful addition to any home. His playful nature and loving personality make him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a fun-loving and affectionate pet. Give Goose a chance, and he will fill your home with purrs, love, and an irreplaceable companionship. Adopting Goose means welcoming a bundle of joy into your life. His shy sweetness promises a bond of unique depth and warmth. If Goose sounds like the perfect fit for your family, please consider visiting shelbycats.com/adopt to begin the application process!
