Meet Krakatoa! ??Krakatoa is a 4-year-old domestic shorthair who has the sweetest personality and is ready to find a home of his own! He came to us as a stray back in April, and our original plan was to have him neutered, ear-tipped, and return him to the outdoor life he was accustomed to. But after further testing, we discovered that Krakatoa has tested positive for both FeLV and FIV. Because of this, Krakatoa will need to be the only cat in his new home. While his diagnosis may make his adoption a little more specialized, it certainly doesn’t change what a wonderful cat he is!Krakatoa absolutely loves attention and is happiest when he has people around to give him some love. He also enjoys exploring new places and taking in everything his surroundings have to offer. He has an ear-tip from when we thought he would be returning to his outdoor life, and he may still be able to enjoy indoor/outdoor living in the right environment, as long as there are no other cats in the area. More than anything, Krakatoa deserves someone who will look past his diagnosis and see the incredibly sweet, loving cat underneath it all. He has so much love to give and is simply waiting for someone willing to give him the chance he deserves. ??We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. I haven’t had any issues with her tearing things up or going outside of the litter box. I work two jobs and cannot give her the attention she is needing.
