Story
Stubbs came from the Johnson County Animal Shelter in need of medical assistance. None of us are sure what happened but somewhere along the way, Stubbs ended up with a pretty gross tail injury that resulted in a tail amputation. His tail at this point is basically non existent but he's super cute with his lil nub. What Stubbs lacks in tail he makes up for in spirit (not that he needed to make up for the loss of his tail, am I right?). He is a sensitive soul who is gentle, kind, and loving. His companionship is soothing to the soul and brings so much calm to anxious, stressful days. He's a little hesitant about it at first but he loves to play. Laser and string toys are his favorites so far. Stubbs is about a year old, neutered, UTD on core and FeLV vaccinations, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, and on monthly flea preventative. His adoption fee is $75 and his application can be found here: www.jcccats.org/adoption-application **Do NOT call with adoption questions, the volunteer who handles our phone calls does not handle our adoptions. Story
Meet Lemur, an adult feline with a personality as unique as her name. She's a shy soul, preferring quiet corners and soft whispers to boisterous activity. Her tail, however, is her most distinctive feature, a fluffy masterpiece that adds to her charm. Lemur's a bit of a wallflower, but once she warms up to you, she'll be your most loyal companion, she is a cat's cat, so would do well with another cat in the home. Her gentle purrs will soothe you after a long day, and her soft presence will be a comforting constant in your life. Adopt Lemur, and let her bring a touch of serene beauty to your home. Adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, HCPCh, FeLv), booster shots of HCPCh, and FeLv, microchip, FIV/FeLv testing (negative on both), and deworming.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Michele (mballenger58@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Online Adoption Application › I had a rough start going into a county shelter as a tiny baby with my siblings and no momma. The shelter staff worked hard to bottle feed and try to save us, but I am the only one who survived. I earned the name Baby Tiger because I fought to beat the odds. I was adopted as a kitten for a short time and came back to the shelter with a head tilt. It is not known what caused this. I still occasionally have a slight head tilt, that is not holding me back and is barely noticable now. I love my toys and am playful. I use my litter box faithfully and had my vaccines including rabies. I'm neutered and ready to find my forever home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 3, 2024, 10:31 pm
