Let me go, let me go, let me go home with you! I'm sure you know Elsa's hit song, called Let Me Go, she wrote it just for you! This pretty girl will freeze your heart and you'll fall instantly for her. She is a playful little 3-year-old cat that is looking for her perfect ice castle to spend the rest of her days in. She would love to find a home with her twin sister Chloe. She is great with her furry counterparts, whether she's living with other cats or dogs. She's also great with kids, in fact her main profession was a kid's birthday party entertainer (you'll never guess who she would dress up as). She is playful, loving, and looking for a good snuggle/play buddy. If Elsa sounds like the perfect fit for your kingdom come in and visit her today!

Story
TurkeyFor the life of me, I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do! My kittens and I were brought to the HSHC as strays on Halloween. This event seemed like a trick and not a treat to me. I had been doing my best to care for my four daughters and did not think I needed help. But in retrospect, I guess it was for the best--my kids have all been adopted. I, however, remain in my foster home, trying to improve my confidence and comfort level. In early December, I hid in my carrier and hissed when my Foster Mom (FM) tried to pet me. Later, I would hide under the bed but allow her to touch and play with me with a "back scratcher." But if she looked at me or moved her hand close to me, I'd hiss! Fast forward to late January. I still spend most of my time under the bed, but I've been getting braver. I love being petted with the back scratcher and even made biscuits on FM's leg! But don't try to touch me! I'm still terrified. My FM loves me and wants me to find my forever home. I need a patient human with a quiet lifestyle who can give me all the time I need to open up and relax. I am a small, 3-years-old DMH tabby. It may be a challenge, but I'm worth it! 2-7-24

Story
Mystic"All right, Mr. DeMille. I'm ready for my close-up." Sunset Boulevard is my favorite movie, and I can relate to this quote. If you could have seen me when I arrived as a stray cat in early March, you would have thought I was on death's door. I was scrawny, missing fur, covered in open sores, extremely itchy, and just miserable. The HSHC medical team went to work to find out what was wrong with me. They discovered that I had severe allergies, which were causing all my discomfort. With the right medicine, diet, and TLC, I am a new girl! I am only 5-years-old with an adorable personality, affectionate nature, and loads of charm. Ask the interviewer lady (IL); she will tell you that my transformation is like night and day. Today, when she visited, I was right up in her face with nose kisses, purring, flopping on my side for more pets, and cuddling up as close as possible to her chest. I am a petite little thing, with the return of my luxurious, long black coat--very soft! My coat may appear to have some cinnamon brown in it, but it might be sun-bleached from living outdoors. I have been spayed and use my litterbox faithfully. Although I was homeless when I arrived, I recall what it means to be someone's pet and look forward to it again. AND I am absolutely ready for my close-up! 5-8-24

Story
Rosetta is part of a bonded pair and will NOT be adopted without Clark. Please do not contact us about Rosetta unless you are also interested in adopting Clark. Rosetta Halftail Female (spayed) Medium-haired torbie (brown tabby with orange) Rosetta Halftail is a medium-haired torbie (brown tabby with orange spots) spayed female that was born to a feral Manx mother and lived outside for her first 10-12 weeks of life. She was the first of her siblings to be trapped, but also the nicest. She is a little confused with her signals - when you bring her food, she will hiss at you yet she eagerly dives in to eat. If you pick her up and love on her, she will easily purr but she doesn't like to be held for long. However, she does love to be pet and has "elevator butt" (scratch the back and the butt goes up). She does indeed have a little more than half a tail, which is where she got her last name. Fluffy and adorable, we can't wait to find her the perfect forever home. She is BONDED with Clark and we will only adopt them TOGETHER. No children under 12 (they make her nervous) and no dogs. She is okay with other cats.
