Story
Hey there, my name is Lana! I was found outside, but had no trouble acclimating to the sweet life indoors. Being a bit skiddish of new things, indoors makes me feel the safest. I love cuddling up in my cat tower, under any soft blanket, or really in any tiny nook that feels safe. I can be a bit shy with strangers, but once I warm up to you (which takes a little patience), I’m full of nothing but love! I enjoy playing with all kinds of toys- string sticks, cat tracks, tiny mice, or anything that moves a little silly. I currently live with a male cat, but I don’t quite care for him. My first home had 2 male cats who were a bit mean to me, causing me some fear with new cats. Being a single cat household is preferred, but I have been doing my best living with other cats! I was found outside with a female cat, so I may fare better with a calm, single female cat in the house.

Story
Hi, I’m Casey I’m a calm, loving kitty with a gentle spirit and eyes full of wisdom. Life hasn’t always been easy for me, but you wouldn’t know it—I’m all about soft beds, slow blinks, and quiet companionship.I do have FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), which sounds scarier than it is. It just means my immune system needs a little extra TLC, and I should live indoors to stay safe and healthy. I can still live a long, happy life—and give lots of love along the way. I get along fine with other calm, friendly cats, and I’d be just as happy soaking up all the love as your one and only.If you’re looking for a low-key companion with a big heart and a purr you can feel in your bones, I might be your perfect match.Come say hi—I’m Casey, and I’m ready to find my forever.

Story
Stubbs came from the Johnson County Animal Shelter in need of medical assistance. None of us are sure what happened but somewhere along the way, Stubbs ended up with a pretty gross tail injury that resulted in a tail amputation. His tail at this point is basically non existent but he's super cute with his lil nub. What Stubbs lacks in tail he makes up for in spirit (not that he needed to make up for the loss of his tail, am I right?). He is a sensitive soul who is gentle, kind, and loving. His companionship is soothing to the soul and brings so much calm to anxious, stressful days. He's a little hesitant about it at first but he loves to play. Laser and string toys are his favorites so far. Stubbs is about a year old, neutered, UTD on core and FeLV vaccinations, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, and on monthly flea preventative. His adoption fee is $75 and his application can be found here: www.jcccats.org/adoption-application **Do NOT call with adoption questions, the volunteer who handles our phone calls does not handle our adoptions.
