Story
Stubbs came from the Johnson County Animal Shelter in need of medical assistance. None of us are sure what happened but somewhere along the way, Stubbs ended up with a pretty gross tail injury that resulted in a tail amputation. His tail at this point is basically non existent but he's super cute with his lil nub. What Stubbs lacks in tail he makes up for in spirit (not that he needed to make up for the loss of his tail, am I right?). He is a sensitive soul who is gentle, kind, and loving. His companionship is soothing to the soul and brings so much calm to anxious, stressful days. He's a little hesitant about it at first but he loves to play. Laser and string toys are his favorites so far. Stubbs is about a year old, neutered, UTD on core and FeLV vaccinations, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, and on monthly flea preventative. His adoption fee is $75 and his application can be found here: www.jcccats.org/adoption-application **Do NOT call with adoption questions, the volunteer who handles our phone calls does not handle our adoptions. Story
Meet Lemur, an adult feline with a personality as unique as her name. She's a shy soul, preferring quiet corners and soft whispers to boisterous activity. Her tail, however, is her most distinctive feature, a fluffy masterpiece that adds to her charm. Lemur's a bit of a wallflower, but once she warms up to you, she'll be your most loyal companion, she is a cat's cat, so would do well with another cat in the home. Her gentle purrs will soothe you after a long day, and her soft presence will be a comforting constant in your life. Adopt Lemur, and let her bring a touch of serene beauty to your home. Adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, HCPCh, FeLv), booster shots of HCPCh, and FeLv, microchip, FIV/FeLv testing (negative on both), and deworming.

Story
Bruce and Jet are brothers. They are 14 years old. They have always lived indoors together and it would be nice to keep them together, but they may be adopted separately if possible. Bruce has a prescription diet and the cats need to be fed separately, but otherwise they are healthy, playful and also fine if left alone. They were raised among dogs and lots of company so they love people and get along with other pets. I have to travel a lot with my new job and boarding the cats is expensive for me. Thank you.

Story
Born March 14th, 2024 to a litter of 5. The mom is polydactyl and so is this kitty. The kittens are held and played with a lot by adults and children. This one loves to run and play and is also more of a loaner, so we call him Shy Guy. He is always kinda off to the side, but does like to cuddle with his brothers and sisters when they sleep. He is eating dry food and still nursing on mom as of 4/18. This kitten will be ready for his new home toward the end of May. I want to be sure they get a good amount of time together. I took in the mom cat in January after my oldest cat passed away. The mom had been abandoned and I had the space. I didnt know she was pregnant when I took her in and found out soon after. There are 3 kittens available from this litter, along with the mom. The mom is very cuddly and has a very strong purr.
