Hi there… my name is Coco Melon. I’m a beautiful 2-year-old torbi girl — a little tortoiseshell, a little tabby, and a whole lot of personality. I’m also the proud mama of five precious kittens. Our story didn’t start in a gentle place. We were found near a homeless encampment, and when kind people realized I was in the middle of giving birth, they reached out to Animal Ark for help. Because of them, my babies and I are finally safe. We’re warm, fed, and cared for — maybe for the first time in our lives. Even though our beginning was scary, we’ve stayed strong. Around here, they call us Team Coco, and honestly… it fits. We’re survivors with big hearts and even bigger hopes. Once my little ones are grown and ready for their own adventures, it will be my turn to find a home — a real home — where I’m cherished, pampered, and treated like the treasure I am. I’m not quite sure yet how I feel about dogs, kids, or other cats, but with slow, gentle introductions, many pets learn to feel safe and loved. I`m Foo Foo, a one-year-old brown tabby female, one of about 20 kittens that came to Animal Ark last year due to a housefire. We all went to wonderful foster homes for socialization and plenty of TLC. We were all so tiny when we came to the shelter, and due to our circumstances, our experiences with children and dogs were unknown. I was adopted by a wonderful family and had a beautiful home. I got along with the resident cat and dog. A new baby came and my family decided there was too much going on, and I wasn`t getting the attention I deserved.
