Hello there, I`m Sweetie, a resilient 2-year-old brown tabby female with the most soulful eyes you`ve ever seen. I may not have had the easiest start to life, but I`m proof that love and second chances turn things around. No one knows much about my background, but we do know I showed up in a neighborhood with my four tiny kittens. A kind-hearted person took us in and cared for us until a spot opened up at the shelter. Thankfully, my days of raising kittens have come to end and I am now ready to find my forever home. My experience with children, dogs, and other cats is unknown, but given my recent time outdoors I might not be open to a home with other cats. I arrived at Animal Ark with a few minor injuries (all healed now, thanks to the loving care here), and no owner to be found. Soon after, the staff discovered I was expecting! McCoy will greet you with loud purrs when you walk into the room or pick him up for cuddles. McCoy gets along great with both the cats and dogs in his foster home. He does need to let the dogs know he’s boss though. McCoy uses the litter box like a champ and is a typical playful kitten. He will do best in a home with kids 8+ as he likes to play attack with his humans. Finnegan is a 5-year-old neutered male. He has gray medium length fur and is polydactyl. He is an indoor only cat, litterbox trained and current on vaccinees. He is not declawed but is GREAT with only using a scratching post. We need to re-home him because after being together for over 4 years, he is now not getting along with our female cat. We have tried many different things, including medicines from our Vet, but nothing has helped. Because of this, he may need to be in a single cat family. However, he does get along great with our female dog and our male cats. He is a super handsome and sweet boy and will cuddle when it's his idea. He does sleep with us every night and does try to cuddle with our dog even when the dog doesn't want to cuddle. He loves to play with his toys and loves treats and will be very vocal when asking for treats.
