Story
Boots is 5 years old. He is easily startled and skittish, but once he feels comfortable, he’s all about cuddles and affection. He shows his love by giving gentle love nibbles, as he sometimes struggles to control his excitement. He gets along great with my other cat and enjoys napping and hiding in dark spaces. He’s never bitten or scratched us. Boots loves playing fetch and eating. He’s a fan of belly rubs and being cradled like a baby. However, he’s a bit possessive and doesn’t like sharing his owner as he wants you all to himself. Looking for an experienced cat owner with a home that is a quiet, calm environment where Boots can feel safe and secure. It should have plenty of cozy hiding spots, like soft beds, boxes, or hidden nooks, where Boots can retreat to when he needs to feel protected. The space should be free from loud noises or sudden movements that might startle him. Having a slow, patient atmosphere with minimal foot traffic will help him gradually feel comfortable.

Story
Meet Kitty: the shy sweetheart with a soft mew Kitty is a gentle, sensitive girl who has been blossoming a little more each day. At first, she preferred observing the world from the safety of her kennel, often gazing out the window or peeking from her cozy blankets. Sudden noises can still make her tense, but with a little reassurance (and the occasional dusting of catnip or silvervine!) she settles back into comfort.Once she learns she can trust you, Kitty shows her affectionate side. She greets visitors with a friendly mew, enjoys quiet company, and absolutely melts for gentle head, cheek, and chin scratches. She purrs happily during brushing sessions and will even lean into the brush for more. While she is not ready for a lap just yet, she is beginning to ask for pets and cuddles on her own terms.Playtime is something she is exploring at her own pace; sometimes she prefers soft, easy toys, and other times she will surprise you with a burst of enthusiasm for a feather wand or a freshly dusted toy. After play, she likes to unwind with some very dedicated grooming to keep her bib perfectly tidy.Kitty would thrive in a calm, patient home that understands the joy of helping a shy cat feel safe and loved. With gentle encouragement, she continues to open up, showing more curiosity, more trust, and more of her sweet personality each day.If you are looking for a soft-spoken companion who will reward your patience with quiet affection, tender mews, and steady companionship, Kitty may be your perfect match. Please visit https://felinerescue.org/all-cats/ to learn more about me and where I am located!

Story
Meet Jive! 🐾 Jive is a bold, playful, and super sweet brown short-haired boy who loves to be in the middle of the action. He’s got a ton of energy and a big personality to match — if there’s a feather wand or a tunnel around, he’s in it. When he’s not zooming through playtime, you’ll find him lounging by the window or basking in a cozy warm spot near the heat. This chatty guy isn’t shy about sharing his thoughts — he’ll vocalize when he wants attention or just feels like adding commentary to the day. Jive enjoys affection, but on his own terms (classic cat confidence). He’s fully litter trained, loves a good cat tree climb, and thrives with regular play sessions to help him burn off energy — especially since he can get a little talkative at night if he’s bored. Jive would prefer to be the only cat in the home, though he might do okay with the right calm companion. He hasn’t met dogs or kids in rescue, but would likely be fine with gentle introductions. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, expressive cat with a zest for life and a soft spot for cuddles and playtime, Jive’s your guy! 💛 Currently fostered with: Snuggles. I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Adoption Fee: $250 + applicable tax MEET ME/ADOPT ME: If you’d like to arrange a meeting or begin the adoption process, please fill out an adoption application by visiting https://www.twincitiespetrescue.org/adopt/ or clicking “Apply for Adoption”. Story
Meet Geri! Geri is a delightful one-of-a-kind calico with a mix of playful energy and calm charm. She’s curious and loves exploring every corner of her space, chasing toys, batting shiny objects, and soaking up sunbeams by the windows. Whether she’s playfully rolling around with a ball or lounging on the couch, Geri is a joy to watch. She enjoys cuddles on her own terms and is happy to be picked up, but doesn’t require constant attention—perfect for someone who wants a companion who’s affectionate yet independent. Geri has a quirky side too: she’s a little scared of moving alpaca slippers, possibly thinking the stuffed animals are real! Geri has not met other cats, dogs, or children, so introductions would need to be slow and patient. She’s fully litter trained, loves couches and beds, and her mix of active and chill moments makes her adaptable to many household types. She does have a minor allergy/asthma issue, but it’s manageable and hasn’t slowed her down—she’s still her playful, loving self. Geri would thrive in a home that can give her gentle attention, toys to explore, and plenty of sunny spots for relaxing. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, curious, and talkative companion who can keep you entertained and melt your heart, Geri might be your perfect match! I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Story
Meet Foxtrot — the goofy, sweet, and soft orange-and-white boy with a personality all his own. Foxtrot is a calm, independent adult cat who enjoys a quiet home and affection on his terms. He sometimes loves chin scratches, but more often, he’ll rub up against you to show his love. He’s playful too—he adores chasing lasers and dangle toys, though he usually prefers the string over the toy itself. When playtime ends, he naps anywhere from pillows to chairs, though never in his cat bed, and loves curling up near you while you sleep. Foxtrot had some dental work and has an extra tooth, but it doesn’t bother him; daily brushing is recommended. His left ear has a unique shape from a healed aural hematoma, which doesn’t cause any pain or issues. He’s fully litter trained, with only occasional accidents as he settled into home life, and he’s fine being picked up without needing constant holding. Foxtrot hasn’t lived with other cats, dogs, or children, but he’d likely adjust with proper introductions. He would thrive in a calm, patient home that appreciates his mix of playful antics, independent spirit, and sweet cuddles. Soft, fluffy, and endlessly charming, Foxtrot is ready to bring love—and a little goofiness—into your life. Foxtrot is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age. If my saucer eyes and gigantic tail catch your eye you’ll be happy to know I also have a big heart of gold too! When I’m not sleeping in my favorite high spots throughout the house I’m chasing my favorite toys, hair ties, or my other kitty friends. I love my string toys so much I come running from the other room when I hear them. I learned my food routine really fast and now I just wait patiently in my room while my dinner gets made. I love treats too, but not more than my toys I think. I hope you’ll come meet me and let me head bonk your hand to ask for pets! Hello! My name is Yzma - thank you for reading my bio! I am a very sweet girl and I love to snuggle on my foster mom's lap. I enjoy draping my body over every inch she allows. She gives me lots of much-appreciated pets, scritches and loves and I reward her with lots of purrs. I love to play with teaser toys, I have a favorite teaser toy that I carry around the house trying to get one of my siblings interested in playing with me. I guess I am a girly girl - I don't mind getting a mani-pedi (nail trim) periodically to keep my claws maintained. Another interesting thing about me - I have a favorite song - Can't Catch Me Now by Olivia Rodrigo (from The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) I have a brother named Pacha that I get along great with! I would be happy to be adopted with him, another kitty or could be your one and only true love!
