At the time she was quite thin and had an upper respiratory infection that needed attention. Once brought in, she unfortunately tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLV+) so of course, this makes it more difficult for this sweetie to find a furever home. All cleared of her URI, she is ready for adoption. Tess is a very active girl who is affectionate and playful. Our vets are telling us she has a 2018 birthdate, but she acts like a kitten - full of spunk! She is great with other cats and dogs (see her transport photo!). She can get a little over zealous, so children of an older age would be fine but we recommend she not be placed into a home with toddlers. If interested, please do a little research on feline leukemia before contacting us for a meet & greet with her. FeLV+ cats can live long lives if cared for with regular check-ups (at least annually) and a good, healthy diet. They can also co-exist with other non-FeLV cats as long as those cats are vaccinated for the disease. We cannot guarantee what her lifespan will be, but can we really guarantee that with any pet? Hi there, my name is Strata! I am a young, male tabby with a chocolate brown coat and the coolest stripes. I came to TCPR when I was just 5.5 weeks old after my mom, brothers, and I were found as strays. I’m very energetic and playful! I LOVE to play and snuggle with my litter-mates and other kittens. I do well with kids as long as they’re gentle with me. Dogs scare me right now but with a slow, proper introduction I think I could learn to love a canine sibling! I was the shyest (and spiciest) out of all my siblings when I first entered rescue, but I couldn’t have made a bigger turn around. My foster family and rescue staff have watched me transform from a terrified little guy into a sweet, playful, and affectionate kitten. I love to play with toys (especially ones with feathers) and I’ll be sure to come to you for cuddles as soon as I tire myself out. A really cute quirk of mine is that I will most definitely try to give your nose a grooming if you hold me close enough. Overall, I’m a charming, well-rounded little kitten who will keep you on your toes and give you lots of love. Meet Poppy! She is your typical, playful cat, who loves to play, nap and eat. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, and is FELV/FIV negative. NINA is a petite and beautiful medium hair black and white girl with deep gold eyes who is approx. 1 and 1/2 years old. Her fur is very soft and shiny, and she has a lovely bushy tail. Nina takes awhile to adjust and trust her person so she would prefer a quiet home. She loves playing with little stuffed cat toys, chasing the wand toy and toys the foster throws for her. She likes to have her head scratched but not her whole body (she gets overstimulated) – she goes to her foster asking him for head scratches and attention. Nina enjoys hanging out on her foster’s desk while he works at the computer, and her favorite pastime is watching the activity out the windows. Nina sleeps on the bed at night and is looking for a human best friend who appreciates her beauty and calm demeanor. Nina has not been around other animals in our program, and we think that is just fine with her as she would prefer being with her person. She cannot go to a home with children because she is curious about what is on the other side of doors. Remember, cats can live 18+ years so be sure you can give Nina her forever home. She would be fine in an apartment just so she has windows to look out, but moving often would be hard on her having to adjust several times. Nina is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Bella is black tiger striped with amazing eyes and a longer coat. Lily is gray and white tiger striped. Both are living and a lot of entertainment but unfortunately I am moving abroad and want to find them a new home. Born in October 2024 and are sisters.
