Story
Introducing Honey, the epitome of feline grace and charm! At 1 year old, Honey is a spayed beauty with a soft fur coat that's as luxurious as her personality. With all her shots up-to-date, she's ready to bring warmth and affection into your home. Unlike her boisterous brothers, Honey is a refined lady who appreciates the finer things in life. She takes pleasure in lounging on her scratching pad and dreams of having her very own cat tree or tower, where she can perch elegantly and observe the world outside. Despite her stray cat heritage, Honey has embraced indoor living with open paws and has no desire to roam the streets. Gracious and loving, Honey is the dream cat you've been searching for. Neat and tidy by nature, she effortlessly brings a touch of elegance to any space she occupies. Her gentle demeanor and affectionate nature make her the perfect companion for a loving adult family or individual.

Story
UPDATE: Peepers does not have to wear diapers when he is on a raw diet.  His stools are firm, and no mess is made.  Peepers has been leaving his backend alone now.  He certainly can wear diapers if preferred as he occasionally plays hard enough to squeeze out a small, dry, odorless turd.  Otherwise Peepers is good at heading to the litterbox and depositing them there.  He just doesn't have a sphincter to prevent play from squeezing an occasional turd out.  We consider his diapers an easy option for the dear boy.   Peepers is an amazing young man, one year old, who arrived in our care as a tiny kitten with anal atresia due to trauma (cockleburs).  Unfortunately, the first surgeon didn't recognize his condition and expanded his fistula.  The next surgical team combined the original anus and the fistula by cutting through the anal sphincter.  That means that Peepers doesn't have a functional anal sphincter.  But given our main goal was to give him a functional "poop chute" we are happy with the outcome.  Peepers does take a twice daily medication.  He runs and plays and loves to chase and rumble with other felines.  He's comfortable with our resident dog.  Peepers does tend to bond to one person, but he did fabulously well with all his vet visits and staff fell in love with him.  Peepers has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper.  He tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia.  Peepers is available for adoption for $50 (our rescue survives on donations).  Peepers is NOT declawed.   Please note that Peepers is located in New Prague, MN. 1700+ adoptions and counting. . .Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 24, 2024, 7:05 pm

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Sam approached our family on the street asking for help as a starving, sickly kitten. After receiving the medical care he needed for some minor infections, he quickly blossomed into a sweet and social cat. He absolutely loves attention and makes fast friends with his feline companions; he has also been caught snuggling with dogs! Multiple times a day, Sam will bring us some of his favorite toys as trophies, and we reward him with a game of fetch or simply some love and affection. Sam will need frequent brushing, given how fluffy his coat is. He is also quite vocal and his purr is very loud. The only thing bigger than his heart is his huge poofy tail! Sam must be adopted with his brother Frodo, they are a bonded pair that love each other so much!
