Story

Orange Julius is one of the friendliest cats I have ever rescued. He loves people and shows it by jumping into my lap and cuddling every chance he gets. He also loves to stretch up from the floor raising his front paws as if asking for a hug. I always pick him up when he does this so that I can cradle him like a little baby and plant kisses on his adorable face. He immediately starts purring up a storm. He sounds like a tiny lawn mower. He is very playful and has lots of energy. Watching him get the zoomies and run back and forth is a great source of entertainment. Although he didn't do well with other cats for the first month that he was here, he is now doing better. He has lots of energy and likes to chase other cats and play rough. He would do okay with another energetic, playful cat, as long as the introductions are done very slowly and deliberately. He will also do fine as a single cat. His mission in life seems to be receiving as much pets, snuggles and love as possible from his human! He is such a happy, loving boy. As you can see from the photos, he is a very handsome cat. His coat is a warm, rich orange color and is soft as silk. He is a medium hair cat so he's nice and fluffy. And his tail is simply majestic!

CURRENTLY UPDATED! Please meet GAYLOR - A Big-hearted Loverboy!! This beautiful boy was found in a community garden striving for food and looking for shelter to be safe from the harsh and cruel environment he endured. Of course without hesitation we took this sweet boy off the street. We can only guess that he lost his home in a very young age, as he settled into his foster home with a bit caution, but it became very quickly apparent that behind his hesitation, a beautiful gentle furry companion was waiting to come out of his shell. At first, GAYLOR was only peaking around at night time to check out his foster home and particular his sleeping human rescue until he took his heart in his paws 😻 and jumped on the bed right next to her. Since then he displayed more and more his confidence but also his tender side and affection and insists on his "reserved " nightly spot right in the arms of his foster mom. GAYLOR continues to sparkle full of affection, by following his human around and can't wait until she sits down so he can snuggle in right next to her giving head butts under deep satisfying purrs. Often he secured his position by putting his big paws on her lap tomake sure tht she does not move away - so make room for a "purrfect snuggler! But GAYLOR has also a playful personality, batting his toys around chasing feather or strings during playtime. He loves to hang out with his foster siblings, so would be a PURRFECT companion for a residential kitty that is laid back and not too dominant GAYLOR is fully vetted including microchip with a clean bill of health and ready to go to his forever home that showers him with love, attention and most of all snuggle and cuddle time. A volunteer writes:Pelusa is most often "seen" in hiding and invisible to the un-exploring eye(he is not in a kennel but in our cat community room)....A very shy gent he is...Just look at his photos and his video and you will see what a beauty he is and how gentle and timid he is. I love spending time with Pelusa. I pick him up without any trouble, cradle him and rest him in his favorite flower basket.He is really a very sweet cat! Pelusa was relinquished into our care as his owner became terribly allergic to his dander. He lived with kids and small dogs and was friendly and affectionate with all. A very playful and well mannered pet too!Pelusa is just shy within the care center but home, he will most likely be a wonderful forever best friend. Pelusa is a little gem!
