Mona Lisa - NJ Our little miss Mona was found in a parking lot and was being given away. Someone took her so she did not end up in the wrong hands and contacted us. A bit timid at first, yet always cuddly and friendly, she is looking for someone to trust, love and care for her always. If you know torbie's, she needs consistancy and a slightly calmer household to thrive. They are very loyal and loving once you earn their trust! She does a very good job of grooming herself so requires minimal brushing. Loves to play second only to being held and cuddled. She can be a little bossy around other cats and does very well with the dogs in her foster home. She requires a perch where she can go to get away from it all when she gets tired on occasion. Ripple was part of a 4 kitten litter Dew Drop (also available for adoption) had while still young herself. They were discovered in a garage where unfortunately one sibling did not make it, moved under a shed but there were dogs in yard, and finally landed under an abandoned house where the property owners were trying to lock crawl space. This was where we were called to step in and get them to safety. Ripple is getting over his brothers being adopted while he was not. Simply because the landlord only allowed 2 cats and his 2 brothers were crazy kitties and needed each other to play and stay out of trouble. He is a very handsome and mellow kitten that loves attention, purrs like crazy when held, and is growing at a rapid pace for his age! He loves his toys and hammock, appreciates a cuddly toy. He seems to enjoy the company of other mellow cats and a small dog. With the recent storm, he was moved rather quickly into a situation where there were other cats and dogs. This boy took the move like a champ! Within 24 hours he was already slowly and calmly curious about the dogs. He can be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up is a true lap cat that loves to be hugged, held and close. This boy deserves the best - to be pampered and loved for the rest of his life. Story

Whisper - located in NJ. This beautiful medium hair girl found herself in a really tough spot. She was sick, dirty, and all alone on the street. She knew she needed help and followed a lady and her daughter home crying. Fortunately she picked the right person and she contacted us to assist. Whisper had an extremely bad URI and yet she inhaled her food from day one. She was taken for multiple vet visits. Had fluids, multiple courses of antibiotics, a sedation exam for polyps (negative). She had a good bath like a champ and all her mattes combed out. She has been with us since March and is fully vetted and spayed. FIV/FELV negative. She's ready for her furever home. She has improved dramatically but occasionally has a sniffle or sneeze. This will probably be something she will experience on and off. This does not mean she can't live a very happy and healthy long life. We would be happy to explain more. She was a smaller girl that has filled out nicely. She can be dominant around cats but improving, dogs at this time not her preference even though she could potentially live with dogs if introduced slowly and properly. She is a tough little one and can get over zealous playing so small children not advisable. Older children that are respectful and understand boundaries would be fine. Whisper is very active and LOVES her toys. She enjoys brushing when you can get her to stay still. She needs someone that can redirect her to a toy if she gets too crazed ;) She allows her nails to be cut and when worn out is quite the snuggle bug. She craves attention and truly believes it's all about her. You will need to keep her entertained by changing out things to keep her mentally stimulated and busy. She will need to have a relationship with a veterinarian if/when her congestion surfaces and a plan in place to keep comfortable. What she REALLY needs is a family of her own!
