Story
Hello, I am Esmerelda. I am a beautiful female with gorgeous hair! I am bonded with my daughter Melody. We were on our own for a long time before our rescue. Now I’m learning to trust humans and I even play. Churu and catnip are my favorite treats. I’m looking for a patient home to help my daughter and me blossom and always feel safe. Do you know a home like that? ========================================================== Janine the Bean All of our cats/kittens will be spayed/neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccines, FeLV tested, deflead, and dewormed as part of the adoption process. If you are interested in adopting any of our cats or kittens.................... CONTACT US: janinethebeanrescue@gmail.com OR Complete an adoption application at http://www.janinethebeanrescue.org/cat-adoption-form/ Or https://forms.gle/5xvsVVoSvpP6Cngz8 ______________________________________________________________ ABOUT JANINE THE BEAN RESCUE: JaninetheBean Rescue Inc. is a registered 501c3 non-profit rescue group. There are so many cats that are stray, lost or (sadly) thrown away by their owners and left on the streets to fend for themselves trying to find food and a warm, dry place to sleep. Janine Wagner, of Janine The Bean Rescue, is a one-woman savior to these cats! She goes out every morning at 4am, 365 days a year in rain, snow & sleet in the Beechwood section of Rochester, NY to provide shelters and feed at 18 different locations, totaling nearly 100 cats. Plus, she TNR's (traps, neuters & returns) many of them to prevent overpopulation -- some of those cats that she traps, she tries to foster and get them adopted into forever homes and off the streets.

Story
Meet Collette and Tucker – The Perfect Pair! Double the love, double the fun! Collette and Tucker are an inseparable duo looking for their forever home together. Born on July 27, 2025, these two playful sweethearts are full of energy, curiosity, and affection. Collette is a stunning calico girl with a big personality to match her beautiful coat. She’s adventurous, loves to chase toys, and will happily curl up beside her brother after playtime. Tucker, her handsome gray and white brother, has soft medium-length fur and a gentle, goofy charm. He’s always ready for a game of chase or a cozy nap with his sister. These two share a special bond and bring out the best in each other. They love to romp, wrestle, and snuggle together, and their playful antics will fill any home with laughter and joy. Collette and Tucker are both fully vetted, microchipped and ready to start their next chapter. They get along well with other cats but would prefer a home without dogs. Because of their high energy and playful nature, they’d do best in a home with children over the age of 13 who can appreciate their spirited personalities. If you’re looking for a pair of loving, lively companions who will brighten every day, Collette and Tucker are the perfect match. They must be adopted together—because some bonds are simply too special to break. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ PLEASE READ: 1) I do home visits for all the cats/kittens for adoption. I am not currently able to adopt to anyone living more than 1 hour outside of Rochester, NY. 2) I require a vet reference and will contact them. 3) Most of the cats in my care come from the streets and have had a bad start in life. They usually would do best in a home with older children and NO dogs. 4) All the cats/kittens that are up for adoption will be spayed/neutered, have age appropriate vaccinations, combo tested and treated for fleas and worms. 5) An approved application is necessary prior to a meet and greet,

Story
Allow me to introduce Darius, a 1 year old beautiful medium haired boy! Darius is a shy boy who will take time to come out of his shell. He is gentle but will require some push by his human to play and socialize. His fur is like silk; he is so soft! Darius is young and does well with his foster friends. Though I believe he would also do well as an only cat. The more time his human has for him, the sweeter he will become. He loves his food - this will be the way to his heart! Darius requires a home with adults only, or adults and children 13+ experienced with cats. I believe he would do well as an only cat or in a home with 1-2 other cats. He has not been around dogs and would do best in a home without dogs. He is neutered, has age appropriate vaccinations, parasite treated, tested negative for both FeLV and FIV and micro chipped. If you would like to adopt Darius please complete an online Adoption Form at our website https://feralsandkittensandcatsohmy.org/adoption-application/ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ PLEASE READ: 1) I do home visits for all the cats/kittens for adoption. Story
Lenox is a charming medium-haired black cat, featuring a unique patch of white under her neck. At just 2 years old, she was rescued from life on the streets after being abandoned. While she may initially be a bit shy around unfamiliar faces, she soon reveals her affectionate side. Lenox loves being held and enjoys delightful chin scratches. Although she isn't particularly keen on other cats, she might be able to tolerate a calm feline companion . Given her gentle temperament, we recommend a quiet home with only adults or children aged 12 and older. It’s essential that the household is dog-free. Lenox is spayed, parasite treated, has age appropriate vaccinations, tested negative for both FeLV and FIV and micro chipped. If you would like to adopt Lennox please complete an online Adoption Form at our website https://feralsandkittensandcatsohmy.org/adoption-application/ Or click the about us tab on this page and continue to our Adoption Application. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ PLEASE READ BEFORE COMPLETING AN APPLICATION: I take the time to write bios outlining the personality of each cat. To the best of my ability I determine if the cat would adjust to a household with young kids, dogs or other cats. If I feel they would not be a good match I state that in the description. Most of the cats that I rescue were abandoned and having a hard time surviving on the streets. I take them in, get them vetted/vaccinated and then let them decompress. PLEASE DO NOT fill out an application if you have young kids or dogs where I specifically state this would NOT be a good match. I will only contact you if I feel your application will be a good fit. 1) All the cats/kittens that are up for adoption will be spayed/neutered have age appropriate vaccinations, combo tested and treated for fleas and worms and microchipped. 2) An approved application is necessary prior to a meet and greet, 3) Submitting an application does not lock you into a commitment to adopt. 4) If you would like to meet one of our cats please submit an application at https://feralsandkittensandcatsohmy.org/adoption-form/ Find us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/carolsferalsny

Story
Gunner is a soft white-and-grey cloud of a gentleman, ten years wise and ready for a peaceful place to rest his paws. He seeks a calm, quiet home where days move slowly and kindness comes in gentle forms—wet food served with care, a Churu treat offered with love, and the comfort of a plush bed or a simple cardboard box just right for dreaming. Gunner enjoys tender cheek scritches and the soothing sound of a human voice reading or speaking softly nearby, while a little catnip now and then adds a touch of joy to his quiet afternoons. He’s a senior soul looking for a retirement home filled with patience, warmth, and the simple beauty of shared, peaceful moments.

Good with cats,
Story
Alabaster is a six-year-old grey tabby with a soft, thoughtful nature and a heart that blooms best in a quiet home. A little timid at first, he’s known the comfort of other cats and has done well in their gentle company. He finds joy in simple, soothing moments—listening as stories are read aloud, watching bird videos flicker across the screen, or delicately batting at pipe cleaners as if they’re tiny treasures. Mealtime is a favorite ritual, especially when it includes his daily wet food and the occasional Churu or Temptations treat. With patience, calm voices, and a peaceful space, Alabaster can become a tender companion, offering quiet love in the most meaningful ways.
