Story
Lucy is approximately 7 years old. At one time I had a housecleaning business and she came into my life through a customer. She's lived with me for about five years. She's affectionate and loves to sit on your lap and be petted. She also can be very vocal, which is why I must find her a new forever family. I am a senior citizen and recently moved into a shared aprtment. I have two other housemates, and one is highly allergic to cats. Because of this Lucy must be kept in my bedroom, which is so unfair to her, and to which she often loudly objects. Her frequent meowing to escape from the bedroom is causing issues with my housemates, so much so that I am increasingly concerned that I will loose my ability to live here. Having been homeless last Fall for almost three months, that would be devastating for me. I have tried in vain to find a home for her among family and friends, but have been unsuccessful. She needs and deserves a loving, forever home ❤️.

Story
*Name: Salvatore aka Big Sal *Age: 5 years old *Current Weight: 12 lbs  *Rescued from: Texas - (Currently located in foster home in Texas, transport will be scheduled when adopted or for a local Tri-State area foster.) *Adoption fee: $150 *Health: Up to date on vaccines, Neutered, and Microchipped *Adoption requirements: Adopter must be 25 or older HI! My name is Salvatore aka Big Sal, a 5 year old, male.Tabby. I lived with my parents for the last 5 years and they loved me very much, but both mom and dad are older and not in good health so, they asked for help to find me a new forever home. Other cats and doggies make me nervous so I am happiest as an only cat. Please don't let that deter you because I absolutely love all people!  I enjoy being brushed gently because my mom used to brush me daily. Don't let my "Grumpy Cat" face fool you, I'm a sweetheart. My foster family gives me lots of love and attention. The kids love to pet me, scratch under my chin, and play with me and my toys. I love to  cuddle with my people whether on the sofa or next to them at night. I love to hang out in the window and in/on the cat tree. I LOVE cat toys of all kinds! I'm the type of cat that does not demand attention. I can entertain myself, but I like affection especially being petted and scratched. I can be shy at first but when I adjust to my new family, I am confortable around them. If you're looking for a sweet, big, kitty, then look no further! I would be an amazing addition to the family:-) To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ FAQs -- PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE EMAILING All adoption fees are non-refundable Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing: LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the kitten/ cat’s physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a cat’s exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of cats as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for cats for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a cat's medical records. SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR kitten/cat is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the kitten/cat. ** MEETING ADOPTABLE CATS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors. APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means we did NOT receive your application. ##1637634##

Story
Jager is a gorgeous fluff of a boy, a bit on the shy side. Once he warms up he is loving and sweet and full of hugs. He would be a great companion for a senior, he prefers a quiet home without young children.
