Story
Looking for a cat who strikes the perfect balance between curiosity and chill? Meet Gabby, a 3–4-year-old beauty with flowing, silky locks and a quiet, knowing gaze that could melt the toughest heart. Gabby’s the kind of lady who loves to explore her surroundings — every nook, cranny, and cozy corner is a new adventure waiting to be discovered. Once she’s mapped her kingdom (and maybe supervised your activities for a bit), she’s just as eager to curl up in her favorite sunny spot for a well-earned nap. Independent but affectionate, Gabby enjoys company on her own terms — a soft brush, a gentle conversation, or simply sitting near you while you read or relax. She’s calm, confident, and full of quiet charm — a little mystery and a lot of love, all wrapped up in one elegant package. If you’re ready to share your home with a cat who’s equal parts explorer, dreamer, and best friend, Gabby’s ready to make your world a little softer, warmer, and more beautiful. Make her yours — she’s ready to find her forever adventure. Meet Gabby at our adoption partner, PetSmart. The address is 1779 Stone Church Road East, Stoney Creek. *Please note: we only adopt within Ontario

Story
Dolce is a domestic medium hair orange tabby female who is around 2 years old. She is currently in foster care. Dolce is an incredibly affectionate kitty who lives up to her sweet name in every way. She truly loves attention and enjoys being gently pet, with chin scritches being her absolute favorite, especially when given with both hands. As she grows more comfortable, she seeks out affection more often and shows just how loving she can be. Each day, her confidence continues to build, and it is wonderful to see her personality opening up more and more. While Dolce is still a shy girl at heart, she has made steady progress since settling into her environment. Sudden movements or loud noises can still startle her, and she may jump or hide if approached too quickly. She does not enjoy being picked up, but she is happiest when affection is offered on her terms. Dolce gets along beautifully with other cats and loves spending time lounging on the cat tree with her feline friends. Having a confident, friendly cat companion helps her feel safe and secure, and being around other cats has played a big role in helping her come out of her shell. As her confidence grows, Dolce has also begun to show her playful side. She enjoys chasing springs and engaging in gentle play, adding another layer to her charming personality. With patience, a calm home, and a friendly cat buddy, Dolce will continue to blossom into an even more affectionate and confident companion. Dolce would love to go to a home with some cat friends for her to bond to! She is spayed, microchipped, on parasite prevention, and vaccinated with RCCP and rabies. Her adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application found on our website.

Story
Hades is a domestic medium hair black male who is approximately 2 years old. Meet Hades, a handsome and affectionate young boy with a big personality to match his striking good looks. He is a sweet cat who enjoys attention but can become overstimulated easily, so he does best with an adopter who can read his cues and gently redirect or distract him when he’s had enough. With a little patience and understanding, Hades shows just how loving he truly is. Hades is extremely food motivated and always on the prowl for treats, dinner time is his absolute favourite part of the day (very relatable). Using food, treats and interactive play is a great way to build trust with him and help keep his mind busy. He’s clever, curious, and thrives when given positive outlets for his energy. Hades would do best in a home that can provide structure, enrichment, and respectful handling. He has so much love to give and will make a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates his boundaries while enjoying his sweet, fun-loving nature. If you’re looking for a charming black cat with personality and heart, Hades might be your perfect match! He would likely do best as the only cat or with another cat or dog friend who understands boundaries, with a proper slow introduction. Hades is neutered, fully vaccinated with RCCP and rabies, FIV and FeLV negative, microchipped, and on parasite prevention. His adoption fee is $300. To adopt, please submit an adoption application found in the drop down menu on our website.

Story
Emerald is a domestic medium hair black female who is approximately 2 years old. Meet Emerald! Emerald is playful, curious, and affectionate on her own terms. She’s still settling in and getting used to being around her human friends, but she enjoys interactive play and attention once she feels comfortable. Her favorite toys are springs, but she also enjoys fuzzy balls, mice, wand toys, and is learning to chase the laser pointer. She loves watching cat TV and has started exploring the view from the window. She adores pets from head to tail, with her absolute favourite being a scritch on the side of her neck, she leans right into those! She’s fine with paw rubs but prefers to keep her tummy off-limits. Emerald also loves being brushed, showing off her shiny, soft fur. Treats are a highlight of her day, she enjoys temptations and tube treats (squished onto a plate is her preference). She doesn’t like being picked up or cuddled on laps, but her soft purr and gentle meow show her sweet, playful nature. Emerald would likely do well in a home with a cat or dog friend with a proper slow introduction. Emerald is spayed, microchipped, on parasite prevention, and vaccinated with RCCP and rabies. She is FIV and FeLV negative. Her adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Story
CLEO, DMH, CALICOBORN FEBRUARY 5, 2018I am Cleo and rightfully named after the famous and last Pharaoh of Egypt, Cleopatra! I am a queen and I am truly stunning! Kneel before me and serve me, is my attitude. I mean, Egyptians did worship cats and that is such the right attitude to take!I am petite and gorgeous but not for the faint of heart. No children please as I need to be the only one that you concentrate on during my reign of your home as I need a very experienced cat owner. I can be quite grateful and allow you to pet me and love me. I do get a bit over stimulated so I may let you know that I am finished with your adoration and that you may continue with your other chores. Yes I am regal but I can love and will love the right person. So if you think you are the one, come and ask for an audience with me. Don`t keep me waiting!Location: Foster Home
