ARABELLA - DMH, female, spayed, grey tabby, DOB Mar 1/23 Hello, I'm Arabella. I may be a bit timid at first, but with a gentle approach, you'll see my sweet nature shine through. I love quiet moments and soft whispers. I would love to learn to appreciate the simple joys, like a warm lap. I'm an observer, always watching and learning. I have a heart full of love to give, I just need someone to share it with. Adopting me won't just give me a home, it will give you a loyal friend and confidante. Together, we can create a lifetime of cherished memories. Arabella would do best in a mature, quiet home with no young children. July 12, 2024, 11:35 am

Story
Legolas is a domestic shorthair grey tabby male who is 2 months old. He is currently in foster care with his brother Frodo and Samwise. Legolas is the definition of a sweetheart. He loves circling around ankles and peeping hello when you get to the end of a room. He is gently confident and self-assured - often the first out of the cat carrier or first to greet a new guest. He loves spending time with people, and immediately heads to your lap after a meal to curl up and receive some love. He also happily plays with you whenever you pick up a toy - he loves small balls to chase and wand toys. One of his sweetest gestures is that he gently taps you with his paw if he hasn't received enough pets or attention, giving you big saucer eyes until he gets some more. He is known to let out deep purrs and lean his whole body into the pet. Legolas is full of love and affection and would adapt well to most households. He is a big fan of food of any kind, which helps shape his behaviour. He loves toys of any kind and people of all ages. He gets along well with other cats and would do well with other pets with proper introductions. Legolas is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated for FVRCP. He will need his rabies vaccine when age appropriate which will be the responsibility of his adopters. His adoption fee is $300, $550 as a pair with his sibling, or $795 as a trio. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Story
Meet mama Mirabel and her baby Julieta! This sweet family are looking for their forever homes - they would love to stay together, but don't have to. Mirabel is less than 2 years old and is a typical torbie (torti/tabby), sweet as can be but can be sassy. She loves attention and being scratched from top to bottom, but has no problem telling you when she has had enough. Now that her babies are getting older, she is joining them in play and seems to love her toys. All this girl wants is a tube treat and some head scratches, and generally to be near you. Mirabel can be selective with her animal companions. For this reason, she would prefer to be the only cat, or to go home with her baby Julieta. She would be fine with older children who can give her space when she desires it. Mirabel is untested with dogs. Julieta is almost 3 months old and is a total cuddlebug. A typical kitten, she is full of beans and plays for hours, but she is also a super sweet snuggle bum. She will tap my foot for her foster mom to pick her up, and will climb her legs to get into her lap! Please note kittens must be adopted in pairs, or may go singly to a home with an existing young, energetic cat. Mirabel and Julieta will be spayed and will receive 2 sets of vaccines, microchips, health-checks by our veterinary partners, and treatment for parasites. Mirabel tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus); she will be re-tested after 6 weeks, but adopters should educate themselves on FIV and be prepared in the event that the re-test is still positive. FIV is a cat-only virus that does not affect humans, dogs or other animals. Research indicates that, with a good diet and regular wellness exams, indoor-only FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives. You can learn more about FIV here: https://ontariospca.ca/blog/positive-doesnt-need-to-be-negative-adopting-and-living-with-an-fiv-positive-cat/. Their adoption fee is $250 for one, or $400 for the pair. To apply for one or both of these beautiful girls, please visit www.heartstohomes.ca/cat-adoption.
