Story
Hey! I`m Spirit and I`m a little boy on the hunt for a new family with my sister, Business. We are a bonded pair of kitties that have been together our whole lives. We are very playful, however we are still a little nervous around people and would do best in a home with older children or only adults. We still hide sometimes and would need transition time to fully come out of our shell. If you are interested in meeting us, we are currently hanging out at PetSmart.
We'll also keep you updated on Cheddar (bonded with Cojack)'s adoption status with email updates.

Story
DOB 3/15/24 Cheddar is a sweet, shy guy. Give him a little time and he will be your best friend, with the exception of his brother Cojack, who is his BFF. These two are a bonded pair, double the love, double the fun. He still hides from loud noises and fast movements, but he is still very young and will get over this with slow, loving care and affection. -$125 adoption fee per kitten. Hardest part of rescue is: - Not being able to save every cat. - Finding excellent homes for our rescues. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information. We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes. The $125 adoption fee per cat ensures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.
We'll also keep you updated on Cojack (bonded with Cheddar)'s adoption status with email updates.

Story
DOB 3/15/24 Meet Cojack. He's a sweet guy that is ready to find a forever home with his brother Cheddar. They love to play, wrestle, and sleep together. He's gotten more outgoing and likes cuddling as time goes by, all it took was a little patience (and lots of treats) He is part of a bonded pair, along with his brother Cheddar. -$125 adoption fee per kitten. Story
DOB 6/1/24 This little guy is learning that life inside is fun and you get snacks. After he warms up to you he asks for belly rubs. His favorite toy so far is the laser pointer it's so fun to chase. He is a cat’s cat and loves being a big brother to the kittens in the foster home. He also gets along well with older cats would do best in a home with other cats or even with one of his little foster sisters (Tourmaline, Sapphire, Mini Pearl) He takes extra time to trust people but will give you big purrs when he does. He's an all-around good boy with very good house manners. PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult ( over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for Fiv/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Story
DOB 5/10/24 Vendetta has earned his name by being ridiculously playful with the older kitties that might not have expected it, but were totally up for playing anyway. He loves to climb, especially up onto your shoulders! He currently is fascinated by hair and running water. Vendetta has loads of energy. He’s usually running around, but at about 4 PM he’s ready to take a cat nap on your lap. Piper and Vendetta make a wonderful duo and have matching schedules when it’s playtime or nap time and have been found napping side-by-side or with one of the kitties. Adopt Vendetta and Piper! PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult ( over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old).
