Story
Luigi, a cat who's come a long way from being scared and underfed, is now the calm and thoughtful soul he is today. Preferring to observe before venturing out, his caution gives way to sweetness once he feels safe. He's not the daredevil type; give him a safe spot, and he'll watch the world go by. But win his trust, and he turns into an affectionate companion who'll sneak into bed for a midnight cuddle. His need for companionship is highlighted by his playful side. When he gets in the mood, he'll pounce and wrestle with other kittens. He would thrive in a calm and predictable home environment. Luigi could do well with a relaxed older cat or dog, making him an ideal choice for those looking to create a peaceful and loving home. Because all of our kitties are in foster homes we do visitations with our cats with pre-approved adoption applications. Story
Meet Boss, a slender and athletic black cat with an independent and brave personality. She's the kind of feline friend who values her space but isn't shy about letting you know when she's ready for some closeness. Kind of like that cool friend who knows just when to pop over for a chat. She's not food-driven (don't we all wish we were like that?), so don't expect her to perform tricks for snacks. But, she'll stand next to you when you cook chicken, admiring the smell. Her love for exploration and fun makes her a lively companion. Boss shares a special bond with her brother, Mario, and they are a bonded pair. The way she looks after him showcases her caring side. Together, they create a dynamic duo, with Boss often offering comfort and companionship. Because all of our kitties are in foster homes we do visitations with our cats with pre-approved adoption applications. Story
Ribbit is a wonderful kitten that came in to the shelter with his back half paralyzed. He's full of life and can zoom like other kitties! He does need help with bladder expression, so he is looking for someone that can be with him throughout the entire day and really get "hands on". A note from his foster: Ribbit is a sweet, curious kitten who doesn't let his disability slow him down. He doesn't realize he's any different than my other cats. He's been well socialized and loves people, cats, and dogs, although other cats are his favorite. Watching him cruise around on his front legs is amazing! He loves to cuddle and has an incredibly loud purr. Ribbit's new family will need to be prepared for a lifetime of care for him. He currently needs to be stimulated to urinate and defecate four times a day due to his paralysis, so someone who works from home or is retired would be ideal. This little guy's personality more than makes up for the care he needs, and his sweet nature will make you fall in love with him quickly!

Story
*****SPECIAL NEEDS******Sweet, flirty, friendly those are the words that best describe August. August's ears are very unique and give his face lots of character! He has a joyous purr and will roll around on his sides flirting with you to give him more attention. He will lay on his back and make biscuits in the air. He is very food motivated and will gladly eat treats from your hand and I'm sure would be very responsive to clicker training. August is positive for FeLV (feline Leukemia Virus) which means he can only cohabitate with other FeLV+ kitties and with other non-cat animals. FeLV is species-specific and only contagious to other cats; it is not contagious to humans, dogs, or other non-cat animals. He must ALWAYS remain an indoor kitty. There maybe other kitties that are more exotic or fancier, but none have a heart bigger or fuller of love than sweet little August. Cats can live 2-4 years beyond when they are first diagnoses with FeLV - or even longer - so we'd love for him to spend his days growing up in a home he can call his own. If you are interested in meeting him or discussing more about him, don't delay call the shelter to meet her today! I'm sure his adorableness will surely melt your heart like he has Staff's! . My MYM Feline-ality(TM) predicts how I'll behave while adjusting to a new environment:I'm a Sidekick. Like all sidekicks, I'm just plain good company. I like attention, and I also like my solitude. I don't go looking for trouble but I'm no scaredy-cat, either. If you are looking for a steady companion to travel with you on the road of life, look no further
