I lived indoors with my sibling Milo. What’s your ideal home like? A home where I will have lots of love and I can be with Milo.Is there anything else we should know about you? I’m available for adoption and will be ready to go home once I get spayed/neutered! Come out to Greenhill Humane Society to meet me! Do you like other cats? I should do well with another cat after a slow introduction period! What do you think about living with a dog? I would probably be able to adjust to living with a cat savvy dog after a slow introduction period. How do you feel about kids? I am very shy; kids can be a bit scary to me (loud noises/fast movements are very scary to me)! I need to go to an adult only home. What`s your ideal home like? I am looking someone that has experience with shy/undersocialized cats and that will be understanding that I am shy and will need more time than a typical kitten to adjust to my new home! A calm quiet household would be best for me with no children. Since I am a kitten I have lots of energy and will require lots of play time! It would also be ideal if there was another kitten or young playful cat in the home to insure that I learn appropriate cat manners! I must go to a home with active/healthy adults who will be able to get down on the floor with me multiple times a day.Is there anything else we should know about you? I`m a very cute kitten!

Story
Meet sweet ASTORIA, a long-haired solid black cat with a bit of a wonky right eye that makes it look like she’s squinting at you.  It just makes her stand out in her uniqueness.  Astoria is the perfect cat for someone looking for an easy-going companion, in a quiet home.  She hit a bit of a rough patch, and was surrendered to the rescue after her owner could no longer care for her and is need of a calm, loving home to call her own again.  She is independent and low maintenance.  She likes looking out the window and perching someplace high for a nap.  She also enjoys bumping up against people’s legs to get cuddles and pets.  She starts out timid but warms up fairly quickly.  She has a special eye that does get crusty occasionally and will need to be wiped, but she doesn’t let that slow her down.  Astoria is an exceptionally rewarding cat to get to know and love, and would be a wonderful addition to the right home! Astoria has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Astoria in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $100 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.  ID 1905-C0131R ASTORIA DOB 4/23/2019 (est) BEST AS AN ONLY CAT AFRAID OF DOGS QUIET HOME, WITH NO YOUNG KIDS ** HOME VISIT REQUIRED PRIOR TO APPROVAL **February 11, 2025, 6:08 pm

Story
Fearless CHARLIE is a fluffy white male teenager kitten with the cutest little black spots (sometimes called a "Cow Kitty"), including a cute Charlie Chaplin mustache. Charlie is brave and adventurous, always ready to explore and clever enough to cause a bit of mischief. He's very independent and isn’t afraid of anything, not even the vacuum or dogs! Charlie loves chasing feather toys and carrying around crinkly toys. When he’s not playing or exploring, Charlie seeks out the most cozy spots to lounge in. He can be very cuddly and loves to be around people. He is quick to open up to new people and animals and feels comfortable in just about any setting. Charlie would love to go home with one of his siblings, TREVOR or VERA. Charlie has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet CHARLIE in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart. Story
Meet FERRIS and CAMERON, a sweet-natured and adorable pair of teenager brothers. FERRIS is an orange and white tabby with as much personality as his namesake, Ferris Bueller, while CAMERON is a cute gray tabby. These two are “people” kitties – they love human contact. Confident, spunky and affectionate, they will play until they’re exhausted – and then make a beeline for the nearest available lap for some R & R!  They purr easily and often, and warm up immediately to new people and new situations. They were born to a stray mama cat and fostered from birth, so they are well-adjusted and confident. Ferris must be adopted with his brother Cameron, and they are sure to bring lots of love and laughter to their new forever home. They has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and are negative for FeLV and FIV. Their adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet FERRIS & CAMERON in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart.  A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet.  The $320 adoption fee for the pair) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
