Story
"Chip" is a loving 3-year-old cat that craves attention. He loves to be petted, snuggle and play with cat toys. We took him in from the cold weather thinking he was a feral cat, but because he is so "house tame" we believe that he must have been abandoned to the outdoors. We've only had him for a few months and will "gift" the following to the new owners: cat dishes, tall cat "tree"/playground, cat carrier, auto-food dispenser, auto-water dispenser, litter box, cat food and litter. Will be a great pet and "lap cat." Some family members of ours are "allergic" and we just want Chip to have a permanent, loving home.

Story
Mike is a very affectionate kitten who absolutely loves being close to his people. One of his favorite things to do is making biscuits, especially when he’s happy and cozy—his loud purrs usually come along with it! He’s the kind of kitten who thrives on attention and will happily curl up with you for snuggles after playtime.Just like his "Stranger Things" namesake, Mike is loyal, sweet, and full of heart. He’s ready to be someone’s constant companion and bring lots of love to his forever home.   Kittens and Cats are spayed or neutered, feline leukemia/FIV negative, microchipped, appropriately vaccinated, and treated for parasites. They are available to inside only homes where they will not be declawed. Applications to adopt can be found at harthumane.org. Our adoption fees include the spay/neuter surgery, deworming, vet exam, and up to date vaccines. It also includes microchipping as well as heartworm testing or feline leukemia testing.  If you cannot adopt a pet at this time but would like to support our rescue, donations can be mailed to Hart County Humane Society P.O. BOX 1062 Hartwell GA. 30643 or online at harthumane.org. The Hart County Humane Society is an all-volunteer rescue, we receive no government funding and rely on donations to fund our lifesaving programs. ##2598809##

Story
Dustin is a male tuxedo kitten with a fluffy coat, a sweet personality, and a playful streak that will keep you smiling. He can be a little shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, his gentle, affectionate nature really shines. He’s the perfect mix of cuddly and curious—happy to chase toys one minute and curl up for snuggles the next. Kittens and Cats are spayed or neutered, feline leukemia/FIV negative, microchipped, appropriately vaccinated, and treated for parasites. Story
Special Needs- sweet Nikki Sweet Nikki was found as a stray by a wonderful friend (who has since passed away).  During her medical exam, it was discovered that Nikki has a significant cleft palate. However, she had already been spayed, and except for mild nasal discharge, was remarkably healthy! Our friend, because of her own declining health, had opted for euthanasia for Nikki, but was so happy when I said I would take care of her and try to find her a special home. Nikki is so very sweet, loving, calm, and petite. She tolerates my crazy dogs, and does well with my own cats and my many fosters.  Nikki is "special needs" because of her cleft palates.  She gets frequent sinus infections, which require antibiotics fairly frequently.  I currently keep Azithromycin on hand for her and fo a 3-5 day course as needed (per her DVMs instructions).   ##1866161##

Story
Meet Socks – The Big Guy with Big Personality (and a Bit of Sass) Say hello to Socks, a 1.5-year-old house panther with a whole lot of personality (and a little extra floof around the middle). He’s a BIG boy—solid, handsome, and maybe just a touch chunky—but that just means there’s more of him to love. Socks is playful, curious, and definitely has a mind of his own. He loves attention—when he’s ready for it—and don’t be surprised if he throws you a grumpy old man look or two while he decides. With his signature mean mug face, he’s got the perfect balance of “I run this place” energy and secretly sweet charm. Aloof at times and a little shy in new situations, Socks warms up on his own terms, but once you're in his circle, he’s loyal and affectionate (with a side of sass). Whether you’re looking for a solo sidekick or want to add him to your cat crew, Socks will do just fine—he gets along well with other cats and knows how to hold his own. And bonus: His brother Vern is also available! Sleek, long, and lean, Vern is the yin to Socks’ yang. Adopt one and gain a cool companion. Adopt both, and you’ve got a legendary duo. Come meet Socks—grump face and all. He just might be your perfect match. ##2057140##
