Story
Hi there, I'm Scrubs! I'm just a little kitten, but I've got a big personality. I'm sweet, like the first taste of cream, and smart too. I can figure out how to open doors and I've never met a toy I couldn't conquer. I'm loyal, always ready to purr and cuddle up when you need a friend. I'm curious about everything - what's that sound? What's that smell? I'm funny, my antics will keep you laughing for hours. I'm playful, always ready for a game of chase the string or pounce on the shadow. If you need a friend who's always there, who'll keep you on your toes, make you laugh, and snuggle up when it's time to relax, then I'm your kitten. Adopt me, and let's start our adventure together! ##2154446##

Story
Let me introduce myself. My name is Tony,  my foster mom calls me Tony the Tiger. I have a very dominant personality, but that’s only because I’ve had to protect myself my entire life. I never had shelter, steady food or comfort of a home until just over a year ago. Now I don’t give me wrong, I’m very young and vibrant as I am only maybe four years old years. I want to share my story as I am still hoping for a forever home with someone that will understand what I have been through and will give me lots of time and patience. You see before my foster mom took me in, I was living on the street and something very very bad happened to me. An awful person thought I was a bother because I was just trying to get food wherever I could. I didn’t mean to be a bother, I really didn’t. I was just so hungry, but I guess I got in his way. I was trapped in my leg was viciously cut off. I don’t even remember how long I lived like that but I do know people in the neighborhood watched me hop up and down the street with my leg bleeding, pleading for help but just wanting study meal also. Fast forward to the current and my whole life has changed. I did have to have the rest of my leg amputated, but I never have to fear for another meal or a warm bed. My foster mom provides all that but all she wishes for is a forever home for me to have. I am the sweetest boy but given my background, I am very scared. I do take a little time to warm up too, but once I do, I promise you can love on me all you want. I’m also not the fondest of other animals so I do need to be an only cat. I know that makes me very hard to adopt and I’m very scared and shy at times, not to mention I need to be an only cat. But if you think you have the heart to take me in, I would give anything to find my forever home. I can’t promise I will always be a lap cat, but you never know. My foster mom has a lot of other cats which scare me so as I open up to her a lot, I don’t really open up very much to my other foster siblings. All I need is that one person to give me a chance. To give me a calm, quiet home. Are you that person? Galveston/Harris County Texas https://docs.google.com/forms/d/16p-SYRztunHkIx4eArh5L3V9uGHspfI6e5WFXfywDp8/edit December 22, 2025, 2:35 pm

Story
Autumn is a beautiful medium- to long-haired calico cat with a calm, warm and friendly manner. She loves petting, to be picked up, and will come to you when she hears your footsteps. Autumn is also a doting mother cat, who has been diligently raising her second batch of kittens. There is one difference from most, in that she is totally blind, but that does not hinder her in almost any way. She is much more attuned to sounds, to airflow and to footsteps, and does just as good a job rounding up her kittens and caring for them as any mother cat. She was noticed a year ago as a kitten with eye infections that left her sightless, and raised the first kittens outdoors in her Stafford neighborhood, apparently around other cats and dogs. This time we were called to pick her up when found pregnant again, and she delivered about a week later. She climbs cat trees. She plays with tinkling balls, and loves both wet and dry food, without discriminating tastes. When you meet her, you would not realize she is blind. She does not bump into things, stumble, or otherwise seem impeded. She will make a great household cat or additional cat, as demonstrated during the time we have fostered her. Fill out an application to meet her at https://leaguecitypetsalive.org/adopt
