Sumi-e is a gorgeous girl and she knows it! With her confident airs and debonair strut, it's hard to miss her love of regal life, as well-exemplified by her graceful hold of her tail as she grooms it. While she's not a fan of being picked up, she loves cuddles - especially on your lap. In some of her happy states, she will stand on the nearest furniture piece to chat with you, and often will "bow", which she does by ducking her head in a graceful tilt. So easy to love! “Lucky for me, my self esteem is high. Like off the charts high. I can take a bit of criticism but if the worst someone could say about you is that you (and I mean a feline you) doesn’t like riding in cars, taking a bath and small children, I would say that you are A-OK by me. Who are these cats that DO like cars, baths and kids? Well, I already know that I don’t like them either. Add them to my No-Go list. Have these cats not read the “How to be Feline” manual? SPUNKY CUDDLEBUG  DOB 8/24/19 Hi everyone! I’m Woobee, a spunky, funny, entertaining Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with black on my head and tail. Don’t you love my white blaze running up my nose? Because I’m such a snuggler, I was named after the child’s security blanket popularized in the movie “Mr. Mom.”  I’m a lap cat extraordinaire. I absolutely LOVE people and the cuddles that we share. I'm full of zany antics and have a plucky attitude. I’ll bunny-kick a stuffed animal and then come sit in your lap to get praise and to snuggle. I get along great with the other gentle cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I’m accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I’d probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids. DREAMILY LOOKS UP INTO YOUR EYES  DOB 8/7/22 Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Alice, a sweet, curious, playful Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head and tail. Everyone falls in love with me when my beautiful face stares up into their eyes. I love food, love to play, and love to investigate my surroundings. I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Tris, Lucy, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed. Once we were eating on our own, our tenderhearted future Foster Meowmy responded to the plea on the HOPE FaceBook page that we needed someone to foster us until we were adopted. She brought us to our foster home, where we enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other until we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m a happy girl whose life is a repeated cycle of play-sleep-eat. Since we were bottle-fed and familiar with being handled by hoomans, we’ve always been very friendly and sociable – even with strangers. In fact, we come out to meet visitors! Although we haven’t been around kids in our foster home, I’m sure we’d be fine with well-mannered children because we’ve been very comfortable around the Great Pyrenees dog (I really bonded to him.) and the other resident cats. These kitties have acted like aunts and uncles who've taught us everything that our momma would've taught us if she'd been around.
