Zanthia is seeking a new home. Accustomed to living with other cats, she is well-versed in sharing her space. Although she may appear nervous and shy in the shelter, she enjoys being petted and simply requires some time to become comfortable in new environments. She is eager to leave the hustle and bustle of the shelter for a quiet home where she can receive the love and attention she deserves. Zanthia is around 10 months old. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sundae was found in some bushes outside someone's home. He was turned over to one of our volunteers at their church. Sundae has been with us for quite some time now. He is a nice cat, but he has no time for snuggling and cuddling. He likes you to pet him, but he's choosy about how close he wants humans to be. He is very tidy about his personal hygiene and always looks sharp and well groomed.  He is neutered, up to date on all his vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped.  If you would like to meet this gorgeous guy, please submit an online adoption application on our website www.littleorphans.org Give our Adoption Team 2-5 business days to process the info and check references. You will receive an email from them advising of the next step. Upon approval a volunteer will call to arrange a private appointment to come and meet the cats. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Rhett is a work in progress. Originally named Scarlett, was abandoned in a foreclosed house & left alone for weeks. The work crew who found him brought him to us, terrified & starving. He has trust issues with humans. understandably. When he went to the vet we discovered "Scarlett" was a "Rhett" instead. Rhett is slowly coming around, coming out of his cubby hole to wander around the room while humans are in there. Sometimes he will allow some pets before running for cover again. He is making progress, but he will need some time and patience. He seems to like having his roommate, George Clooney, in the room with him. When George goes for a walkabout, Rhett is always excited to see him back in the room. Who knows, he might turn around quickly in a home where he feels comfortable, instead of overwhelmed by too many cats. Rhett is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, de-flea'd, and microchipped.   You can find our online adoption application on our website. Upon approval, a volunteer will contact you to arrange a private Meet & Greet with this gorgeous boy. www.littleorphansanimalrescue.org Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 28, 2024, 11:55 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Grommet came in a trap with another kitten, Wallace. Starving and cold, they both went into a foster home to get baths, treated for fleas, ear mites and worms, and fed lots of good food to get some meat on their little bones. Grommet is very shy. He is easily handled and snuggled when you can catch him in a bed or cubby hole in a cat tree. He wants to hide most of the time. He is so sweet and needs some extra TLC to help him trust humans. His long black hair, and white on his chest and belly make him a very handsome gent, indeed. His buddy Wallace was adopted, so he is kind of a loner at the building now.   He is not a fan of dogs. If you are that special someone who has time and patience to shower this little guy with love, please complete our online adoption application at littleorphansanimalrescue.org to start the process of adding an adorable kitten (or two) to your home.  Adoption fees for kittens include spay/neuter, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and microchip. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Little Molly came to our shelter with a litter of 5 tiny orphans from a hoarding situation. We never were able to catch their mom so they were bottle-fed and spoiled by our volunteers. Molly is a stereotypical Tortie, in that she is very sweet and affectionate when the mood suits her. Other times she is too busy with her important kitten business to be distracted by your human nonsense. She can be so silly and rambunctious one minute, and quiet and pensive the next. She could use a collar with a mood ring function so you could know at a glance. She will really bloom once she settles into a Furever Home, where she knows she will be the Queen Bee. Molly is a charmer. Complete our online adoption application at littleorphansanimalrescue.org to start the process of adding an adorable kitten (or two) to your home.  Adoption fees for kittens includes spay/neuter, up to date age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea preventative and microchip. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Poor Radio was surrendered to us when his human moved out of the country. He is such a nice guy. He loves attention, and being brushed. Not a fan of "being messed with" - he is not easy with nail trimming, it takes 2 people. He's also not a fan of getting meds. But hiding a pill in a Churu does the trick! Otherwise he's pretty easy going. He likes to nap in his carrier, or hang out in the cat tree cubby hole and watch birds out the window.  He has been neutered, updated on his vaccines, and has a microchip. If you would like to meet this handsome guy please submit an online adoption application at our website www.littleorphans.org Give our Adoption Team 2-5 business days to process the info. They will communicate with you primarily thru email, so watch your inbox and spam folder for messages. Upon approval a volunteer will call you to arrange a private appointment to come and meet the cats.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 28, 2024, 11:55 am

Story
Jasmine and Tigger were surrendered from a farm on 6-22-22 with Mom Callie & her 5 kittens and Mom Grace and her one kitten .  They ALL have been ADOPTED! Jasmine and Tigger were very shy and unsocialized at first. They have always been in rooms at the shelter together and have always remained by each other's side. Tigger is very devoted to her.  He is always just watching. You can pick them up once they have trust in you... but they do not like to be held.  Both like to be petted. A volunteer went into their room and laid down on a bed. Tigger was right by her side watching Jasmine. Jasmine was snuggled up to her and couldn't get enough pets and lovings. They are both quiet cats and are extra cautious in new situations. They need to remain 'Best Buds' and adopted together into their new Forever Home with no children and no other cats. (Jasmine randomly 'wacks' other cats in her room  to keep them at a safe distance). They would be perfect for the person wanting 2 sweet loyal companions as you binge watch Netflix! To make an appointment to meet this delightful pair, please email felinecaninefriends.org. ##1429759##
